Simple poll. If so why, if not, why not?

I personally don't drink, it is probably at least partially a rebellion against Australian culture, but mostly I don't think I would enjoy it and I would likely become addicted to it.
Edit: Oh, and money, I don't want to spend it all on drinks. I'm also not a fan of making a fool of myself, and I'd imagine if I were intoxicated I would.

There's also something illogical about me not doing it that I can't quite put my finger on... I guess I just find the thought of doing it repulsive.

Anyway, your thoughts?
Why is there no option for "Yes, but not enough?"

Starting to go through a dry spell...

I drink, but rarely. I gotta be out and around people to do it, and I prefer not to, so it ends up being fairly rare.

I think that's enough of an outlier that it can go in other.

In moderation. I drink beer (Maes Pils) at dinner and when meeting up with friends. I like a glass of fine whiskey every couple of months.

Yes, I do. I've had my fair share and more every couple of weekends, sometimes every weekend, and then again when I'm just chilling with friends. I probably drink far too much, to be honest, but old habits die hard.

I don't really go out drinking anymore my experience of it in the past wasn't exactly enjoyable, nearly everytime i went out drinking there would be a punch up by the end of the evening, or someone all emotional and tearful.

These days i much prefer to have a smoke with friends of a certain substance that is illegal, but i have personally never had any issues with those that smoke this or in a large group of people smoking in one place.

With that said I have a drink maybe 2-3 times a year at works party's or a lad's weekend etc.

I don't like the taste, mostly. If I do like the taste, I still drink in moderation. Until now, I always regretted drinking too much in some way.
But we all know how it goes. You reach the point where you get in the right mood, and you know everything after that can only do you bad. You'll still do it. Or someone will talk you into it.

I drink socially, which, being a student, is fairly often. I've tried to cut back on the amount I drink when I go out now though, I'd like to remember some of my nights out. I went through a period of drinking to get to sleep over the winter, but I've stopped that. I like being drunk, I guess, it just makes social interaction more fun, and it makes all music better. I guess I don't mind making a bit of a fool out of myself, I have a bit of a history of doing very silly things (I once got into a fight with the ground. I insist I won).

I used to drink fairly regularly, like once a week/fortnight, pretty heavily. Kinda standard for a British University student.
I've recently cut it down to maybe a couple of pints per month, due to health issues and just simply outgrowing drinking at the age of 24.
I think I have a pretty good relationship with alcohol currently, pretty moderated. I hate nightclubs and bar crawls, and find those sorts of nights are big wastes of time. I'd rather find other interests.

Craft beer and homebrew are my drinks of choice. I'm getting pretty good at the brewing too.
I am also fond of red wine and port.

Probably get drunk about once or twice a month (depending on who's b'days on and that).

Also, OP you're unAustralian! (just kidding)

Used to drink a fair amount from when I was around 18 until 20. Not so much anymore, I still enjoy going out every now then and getting royally shit faced at a gig of some kind, but that doesn't happen much anymore.

Yes to the past few years, but no, not any more. I haven't drunk in months.

I don't like being drunk.

It's not the taste, or the hangover (who likes hangovers?), or anything in between. I simply don't like being drunk and I much prefer a clear head and mind. I love to think and you can't do that well when hammered... or at the very least, any thoughts you do have are half-arsed and sound like a good idea when they're not.

I'm not against it, I just haven't had any appeal to drink in the past few months; no motivation and no desire. I'd much rather spend money on junk food, tasty drinks and entertainment.
