Actually, coffee beans are not "beans" in the traditional sense (legumes). Coffee beans are the roasted seeds from the coffee plant. Both coffee and tea are considered infusions, though. Also, on the subject of tea and coffee, does anyone know why coffee is not considered a tea? At first I thought it could be because coffee is made from beans, but then I realized that not all tea is made out of leaves. Some use roots, flowers, and whatnot...
