I drink it because I like the taste, I fill it with so much milk, sugar and chocolate that the end result is almost no longer coffee.

Caffeine has no effect on me, so I don't/can't drink it for a boost.
Pretty much this, I call it coffee flavoured milk, though caffeine does have some effect on me I don't really care for boosts, they are annoying, besides I tend to get really tired after the boost, but at least it's not an energy drink, those things make me go hyper active for half an hour and pass out afterwards, I also hate the taste, but anyway yeah sure coffee is good, only drink it when I feel like drinking it which is normally like once a week.

Once in the morning and another if I get a little down during the day. Usually once in the morning is enough for me though

I get free coffee at work. It's cheap and tastes pretty terrible but since it's free, I don't complain. I usually have 2 cups in the morning. It certainly helps perk me up.

I usually have 6 cups (sometimes 8) every morning and usually a few cups when I get home. I am thinking of ordering a pack with 10 kilos of coffee since that gives me quantum discount which means I save 10%.

It was only really after I got to university last year that I started really drinking coffee and taking it seriously. These days I drink at least 4 cups a day, usually in the morning or mid-morning before lectures. I have it strong, black and with a tiny amount of sugar. Also, it has to be properly ground coffee, made in a cafetiere or coffee machine. I won't touch instant any more.

Of course, as a Brit, I'm legally obligated to drink tea at least once a day, so I do that as well. Tea leaves, of course, with one sugar, sometimes milk. Depends on the tea.

I tend to only drink coffee if I have things to do, spurs me on through whatever work or revision or whatever. Guzzle the stuff, live off it sometimes.

In more relaxed times, I might have a cup if I fancy, but prefer to sip tea.

Very seldom. I take one if I'm offered, or if I'm very tired.
Otherwise I get enough coffeine from the daily bottle of Pepsi!

Nah, I'm not a fan of the taste.
I prefer a nice cold milkshake, or glass of fruit juice.

I drink the most coffee in October-November, when everything is awesomely pumpkin. Other than that, I only have the occasional cup. I take a small splash of skim milk and half a packet of splenda.

I do, usually a cup or 2 a day.
I went to Costa and had a caramel coffeelejrlj (can't remember the spelling, but it was reeeeally good) smelled so nice and I didn't need any sugar or milk like I usually do.

Probably would help me now and then but I never really had to get some, not really a fan so I just don't drink it much.

I'll occasionally drink it, but I never really feel any boost from it. I just like the taste.

But it's never something I'd drink every day, or even every week.

I tend to drink instant coffee a lot at work.

But, every so often, a friend and I decide to have something a bit decent. A while back it was ground beans from Vietnam, which was strong as hell. I had dinner plates for eyes on the drive home.

The last time though, we really pushed the boat out.....and had Kopi Luwak.

Kopi Luwak is one of the most expensive types. Beans cost roughly $350/kilo. It's also known as civet coffee, as they've been passed through the digestive system of various breeds of civet (mainly the Asian palm civet). Complex chemical reactions inside the creature alter the flavour.

I have to say, it was really very nice!

At first I drank it every morning, I couldn't start my day without it but later on, its effectiveness started to falter.

So I stopped drinking it altogether. ON THE OTHER HAND, I still drink it occasionally since now, apparently now that I haven't touched the stuff in a while, it's effective again.

Oh and I like it black. And hot. Hot and black.

I don't, not anymore. I used to drink it, but I liked the taste so much that I would drink multiple cups per day, and I became overly-reliant on the caffeine. It got to the point where I couldn't even go one morning without sever headaches if I didn't drink a cup. I decided to kick the habit a couple months ago. I'm not completely free of caffeine though, as I still drink tea, but I'm not consuming nearly as much caffeine, and I can go without drinking it and not suffer the headaches.

Nope. The acidity wreaks havoc on my stomach. I've heard and have found that fruit wakes you up better than coffee. Baring that, If I feel I really need the caffeine I will drink a diet soda in a large cup with a obscenely unnecessary amount of ice.
