I drink once in awhile, mostly when my old roommate is in town and buying or when certain people leave their wine coolers in my fridge.

Drink of choice: Rum, preferably with coke. No beer for me, thanks.
Me Too! I love rum. I hate beer. I have a bottle of Captain Morgan's somewhere...

I'm an occasional drinker, although I have been known to binge on Rum & Coke, that happens very rarely.

I enjoy a drink during moments of relaxation, when I can savour those rare times when I don't have to go anywhere or do anything. Just sit back and chill.

I drink with my friends on occasion - I hate the whole drinking to get drunk thing though, I think you should only really get tipsy/shitfaced by happy accident. Of course, I like to rub the fact that I'm legally able to drink in my country into my American cousin's face, but that's beside the point...

A little. I remember fondly swigging Malibu with people I had just met/some of my oldeest friends. That was my favourite time getting drunk. I drank like 3 litres of cider, I remember drinking an undefined amount of Malibu and then that's all I can remember. There was beer... and Vodka I think. I can remember little bits though and I remember laughing a lot. I also remember pulling someone. That was when I was like... 15?

I enjoy when people who are too young to drink say "I won't do it, seems pointless". There's reasons for it. It's also a great tool if you're nervous about something. Dutch courage. I always have a drink before I ask someone out or go on a date, it makes conversation flow better in the getting to know you stage. It's also tasty and makes fun.

Nah I don't drink, but not drinking at a party has it's upsides. Like talking to drunk people. They are almost always more interesting than when they are sober.

There are a few reasons that I don't drink, the first being that ethanol is incredibly bitter in all the forms I've tried (vodka, rum, whiskey, beer and wine) and secondly because my dad is an alcoholic and his dad died of alcohol-related liver failure.

yes

right now, I'm drinking a mixture of venom mango and everclear (not actual everclear, the 151 proof kind) and studying for finals while my roommate plays CoD: MW2.

ok, so I might not actually be studying very hard.

After I hit the age of 21, I have slowly quit drinking. No real ryhme or reason, it's not as fun as it once was.
Once you're allowed to do something, where's the fun?

OT: I'm disgusted at the mere whiff of alcohol xl The first time I got drunk I mixed drinks (Cider, vodka, alcopops and a lager) and had a shot of mouthwash. Considering it was the first time i was drunk, I caused me to end up to constantly vomit so that I barely had time to breath. I thought I was going to die. ^^' (Silly me.)

However, some nice girl stood there with a towel while I laid out my insides onto her. :D I was going to thank her but I forgot who she was. :(

I love me some Jack Daniels and Coke.

I love me some Bulmers.

I love me some Miller.

And I love me some Chartruce.

By the way is there anyone here besides me that's heard of Chartruce?

I went to college and graduated... of course I do.

Was never a get-drunk-every-weekend thing, but when you go out with friends on weekends in college.. it is a common thing to do.
Now I usually get together with friends and drink, but more socially, rarely get drunk anymore. When youre in a bar, its just not as fun to drink a lot- its more about socializing.

But I do drink wine with a lot of my meals

I'd have a shot of the stuff most week-ends - I find it's not half as intoxicating as Tequila.

Yes. Not often enough. Reminds me I need to pick some beer up next CostCo trip. Their Kirkland mixed case is delicious and well-priced (less than $1 a bottle)!

Ugh...Tequila's never agreed with me too well. There's a place I usually hit up that sells EVERYTHING for only 3 euros each on a Thursday so I usually help myself to a few shots of the 'ol Chartruce then and there.
