There's definitely a difference between lack of knowledge and blind idiocy. Sometimes, I think I am.

Like the bouncer who threw me out of a club for saying "Does this ATM machine EVER work!?" to nobody in particular....
But you realise ATM stands for Automated Teller Machine and this means you said machine twice.

Perhaps he simply believes strongly in proper use of language.

*shrugs*

It's funny to see that most people chose "all the time" and "occasionally". Aren't we a little over reacting?
Me, I'd say rarely. I surround myself with people I like, and that excludes idiots. Most of the time.
My friends are occasionally idiots.

Most of the time they're okay. Then they just fail to get something for like 10 minutes, and everyone else is dumbstruck.

Depends on your meaning of 'idiot'.

Do I consider people idiots for OPINIONS, such as religion or politics? Not in the slightest. No opinion is wrong. However, I do consider people idiots when they try to act like they know a certain fact about something, when they are actually dead wrong.

I know many very intelligent, talented people. People who will go much further in the world than I will and will achieve much greater things. However I'd say the majority of people are ignorant, mindless automatons that all need a fucking good slap and a vasectomy.

For aslong as their groups like the KKK, Neo-nazis, God Hates Fags, Islamist extremists, Scientologists, Fundamentalist Anti-Evolutionary Christians etc. etc. humanity will never progress, and it saddens me. Unfortunately the world has got to the stage where idiots can voice their misguided opinions and even bigger idiots will follow them, and there's nothing we can really do to stop it.
It is inevitable....

If there was a 'majority of the time' option I would have picked that, but we'll just go with all the time.

Anytime I'm walking in public people seem completely oblivious to me. There have been several times when people have run into me and kept walking, dispite the fact that I've bounced off their fat-mass several times by then.
