Well, a ten car pile-up is the most interesting thing on the highway. Not to call the Escapist forums a highway or anything...

Yeah, I'm curious to see why it has become locked.

But then again, if it's a locked thread, do I really want to know?

Well i've had 2 of my own threads locked. Never make that mistake again. So yes, I do read locked threads.

Just to see what sort of ranting it is. Halo, CoD, badges or just "Blah" I have to go and check it out.

Of course. I helps me get a bigger understanding of the rules and etiquette of the forum. For all I know I could be braking some unwritten rule right now.

If it's pretty obvious why it got locked, I'll ignore them. Otherwise it's a cautionary tale.

Yes, for just about every reason that has been listed here. I also can't help but read the posts that invoked mod wrath.

Yes but not to see the OP behave like a moron, I like to see when our level-headed escapees put trolls in their place.

I read the first five posts and then the last post to see if the mod said something funny.

And yes, I usually do read locked threads, if the title is something serious and is not obviously spam. Just like how I usually can't resist seeing why someone was banned or suspended.

Yes. I'd like to see what excuse the mod had for closing it and of course the fabulous lack of reasons provided in post.
