I rarely get called a geek, for a number of reasons. Mainly because I play rugby, and am twice the size of most people in my school, but also because gaming is a completely acceptable thing in my school, and most people own a PS3 or an xBox 360 and play them frequently. The few that do get called geeks, are normally the people that talk about nothing but were to find skulls in Halo, and how through playing Assassins Creeds they think they could kill someone in our school and no one would know it was them.
Same for me. I kind of wish I'd be called one for once though...

No, I smile and begin to bombard them with my superior intellect and make them wonder why they get up in the morning.

Nope. I self describe as a geek and nerd all the time. Not a dork, though. Actually, I don't think I've heard someone use that word since I was 7.

Nope,

OMG, I am smart. GET OVER IT!
plus, almost everyone at my school plays some kind of vidoe games.

In College, I was surrounded by even bigger nerd/geek/dorks then me. After college, Ive hung out with about 5 people, so it never really comes up. But in high school, I was never called a geek/nerd/dork for playing video games. I was called a geek/nerd/dork because I got straight A's, played D+D and Magic with all my friends in every public place we could manage, read fantasy and sci fi novels whenever I wasn't with my friend, not to mention that I never bothered to misbehave, and tended to speak useing big words. I had plenty of other personality targets to get me painted as a nerd/geek/dork. Geek was the word of choice, and it was a mark of pride for me.

No because video games are fun. People do stuff, a lot of the time, because it's fun or enjoyable. I enjoy playing video games from time to time because it's fun. So if somebody calls me a nerd, looser, ect. for playing video games I better never ever see them playing video games.

No, I would much rather be called a nerd/geek than some other names. Besides, names don't really bother me much anyway. I look at it like, "If I was so pathetic and they are so cool, then why even bother with me? Could it be because they are so insecure that they have to pick on 'little' people to make themselves feel good?"

I like when they call me a nerd because that means that they acknowledge that my intelligence is superior to their pathetic ones

Nah, I call myself a nerdgeek for fun. I don't really buy into labels, though. Every individual has too many facets to fit into anything so fixed.

No, but I do get offended for some reason when people call me smart. To me that sounds like "you're a dork." I know that's probably not what they mean but it just irritates me.

For nerd/geek: Haven't you heard the saying? "Be nice to the nerds, because when they grow up, they'll be your boss."

When someone calls me a geek or a nerd.. it's as much of an insult as calling goldfish a goldfish. It's not an insult to me, it identification. Besides in recent years there have been some very pretty female nerds out there.... so therefore I'm content being part of the Nerd Club.

I'll make the T-shirts.
