do you find the credit system in call of duty black ops useless considering you still have to unlock guns by leveling up and that camo and attachments do not show your skill with a weapon anymore?

I didn't realise that headshot boosting in previous COD games showed that you had skill.

I way prefer this new system of purchasing weapons, simply because it allowed for the addition of wager matches.

I don't agree with this at all, I like being able to select the attachments I want to use without having to go through hours of gameplay to get there. It makes prestieging a LOT less tedious, and you don't have to use a weapon without attachments that you may need (silencer) to purchase them. It's a good balance of skill and reward without punishing hte player.

This being said...COD Black Ops still suffers from balancing issues. I mean..seriously? Is there only AK-74U's in the armory now?

Meh. I like the system better. You level up a lot faster so the restrictions are not as bad, nor do you have to grind so heavily to customize your gun the way you want it.

lol haven't they all suffered from that? cod4 was the p90 codwaw was the ppsh mw2 was duel shotgun's

anyway i like the addition of buying the attachments instead of having to rank up to achieve them, i still think gun camo should have been based on challenges still...

It never did.

Sure, a lot of people would aim for the head, or just spray and get lucky, because that was usually a quicker way of taking the other fella down.

However, the people who actually did have any skill were playing Hardcore, and in Hardcore, you shoot center-mass, just like the army manual says you should.

CoD multiplayer would have been a lot cooler if Hardcore Mode was Normal Mode.

"Alright, I have to score 1,500 headshots, 1,000 far range kills, travel to Africa, steal all their shit, come back to America, fund the president, do a little jig in front of him, stick my thumb up my ass and spin around while whistling Yankee-Doodle-Dandy.

After all that, I'll finally unlock an extra 30 rounds for my rifle."

Having to jump through hoops for really small extras is really not that fun anymore. I prefer to choose what I want to unlock, not have to go through every damn unlock one at a time before I get the one I want.

Less focusing on getting shit and more on actually playing the damn game.

Yes and no, no in the sense that it is really nice that you can buy whatever weapon attachments you want; yes in the sense that when you prestige you have to have the damn level to actually reach the weapons you want, and that early on you don't have the money to buy guns and equipment or perks so you're essentially locked into the preset loadouts for like the first 15-20 levels anyways essentially doing the exact opposite of what the system was supposed to set out to do.

I do miss the unlock system, I enjoyed that far more than simply buying it. For instance getting Red Tiger on your gun, you let everyone know your a badass with that weapon. Now you have something and its like, oh, that looks nice.

The credit system would have been great if the game didn't require you to reach a certain level first. As it is, the only reason I see that it was even added was so that wager matches could be implemented.

I find this system a lot better then previous CoD games, sure you need to level up to unlock it but you don't need to get 40 bullet penetration kills to get extended mags, you can just get it straight away if you want. I also did like the idea of leveling up to be able to buy guns as well, it made it balanced somewhat.... I hope they incorporate the points it into MW3..... but then again, I did enjoy unlocking the emblems and titles for getting all the attachments on each gun. So maybe they shouldn't bring in the idea of CoD Points.

i think that the guns and stuff shouldnt be unlocked with ranks. i think it should all be based on credits. so the higher rank guns should have just cost more. but then i guess and extra range and an extra damage isnt worth 50k credits.

i guess the leveling part is to extend the games play time. taking like 20 or more hours to get to rank 50 then al lthe prestiges.

but i have always wondered what a game like cod would be like with having all the weapons avaliable from rank 1 so that you can play the game how you want and not have a rank 50 beat you just cause you have a slightly worse gun with no scope. so it all just came down to skill.

but my biggest issue with cod is the whole random spawning thing. there is little incentive to move forward in the map. it seems to promote camping. cause if you move forward and take some land they will just spawn behind you and you will just have to move back and forth. unless you camp somewhere so your defending instead of attacking.

I want to say ish. On one hand, I like that I can get extended mags without first getting 300 kills and then shooting 40 people through things, but on the other hand, all the things that I used to feel proud about (camos...camos) are really dumbed down, and it is kinda annoying when i suddenly want to change to different attachments and don't have the money for it.
