Ok. So everyone hated MW2 when it came out, cos it was...well...not that good. So they trolled and trolled. THEN Black Ops came out, a shiny new thing for everyone to hate on. So they moved on, leaving only the normal people on MW2. And thus: it IS more pleasant to play on MW2 nowadays.

The people who were hating on MW2 when it came out probably weren't spending copious amounts of time playing MW2. Derp.

So far, I've found my experiences in Blops to be mostly positive/neutral.
The MW2 community is still a load of pissants imo.

Not when you spend the whole match doing them. I can understand sitting in a corner for a few seconds while a guy comes round and quickscoping when a guy is right in front of you, but not when the entire match is spent in one corner and running around quickscoping.

My biggest gripe with MW2 is that it is better than black ops but it is completely ruined by hackers running around with invincibility and amongst other hacks, it is just frustrating playing a good game and then someone spawns you in a house which they blocked up with cheat care packages and then kill us all with a javalin. As soon as the next COD comes out i will pray to god that the noobs of blck ops stay on it.

It's not against the rules and they are effective killing methods. (I don't do either, mind.)

Sure, you may dislike it. But since when does the enemy get a say? The point of the game is to kill the enemy (within the rules).

There seems to be a few unwritten rules which cater to those who dislike certain play-styles.

I think the COD player base is rather inconsistent. The other day I was playing BO and I got racially abused by a large number of players, a few of whom were on my team. What was even more pathetic were those who did nothing about such an antisocial and backward behavior.

The following day, I played with a group of really good people who just wanted to have fun.

I'm not saying don't do it, I'm saying don't be a dick about it. They are effective killing methods that I have been known to use, but I always continue to play normally after. The objective is to kill the enemy, the point is to have fun. The dicks that camp, boost and abuse the auto-aim all game ruin the fun, which is why I frown upon using them all match.

Use the methods when they're appropriate and you don't ruin the game for everyone else, but be a dick about it and you do.
