Apparently boys tend to get on with their mothers better and girls get on with there fathers better so im just curious to find out if that's true

I went without speaking to my mother for almost a year. Much better with my dad.

I get better along with my father, I guess.
I never really talk to him because he works almost all day, but he is overall a much better parent than my mom.
She was essentially a complete and utter ***** to me my entire childhood (Years and years of verbal and physical abuse), so I have no respect for her and haven't seen her in years.

never really knew my pop, so its not a real contest, but i would say i get along the best with my granma, we talk to each other several times a week and meet up almost every Wednesday, so yeah im a real granmamas boy, where as i mostly keep in contact with my mom so that i can spend time with my brother.

My father is a lying, stealing asshole, so the choice is pretty easy, easier even since my mother is a very decent person.

About the same with both parents, though I have completely different relationships with each one. I don't know why but I rarely overlap in things I talk about with either parent, I don't know if it's a good or bad thing, but has definitely been an interesting experience and my overall relationship with my parents is ok.

My father to me was just a source of income. One time he got seriously ill, and I was more worried about how my family would pay for everything than his well being.

My mom bugs the fuck out of me. My dad leaves me alone. We only talk when there is something to be said. My dad and I spent five days in the house alone and said less than ten things to each other. It was great.

My father's anger, childlike additude, rudeness and lazyness vs my mother who feeds us, cleans up and says kind words.. hmmm... tough call. Gone to go with my mother.

About the same, in which I mean they are both stubborn narrow minded people and have no idea who I am or why I do the things I do.

Father. To be fair, we're a lot alike and he's been dead for three years.

i get along better with my mom but i respect m dad more i guess, but me and my dad didn't get off on the right foot when i was a child because he was an angry asshole to me and my brothers. now our relationship has greatly improved! we can have a real conversation, still cant stand up to him though.

I get along with my father better, though I see him less. We're both fairly similar people and we share a fair amount of mutual interests, like computers. My mom is certified crazy and hard to relate to or even understand a lot of the time.

My dad's been dead for 25 years and I'd still say my relationship with him is better than the one I have with my mother. My mom did too many things I can never forgive.

Used to be at wits end with my mother in high school. Then I moved out for half a year and something changed. Weird.
