I do not like Apple or their products. Macs are the biggest rip off I have ever seen

Also, iPhones are a gimmick, and will go away soon (I hope).
iPads are stupidly overpriced, their only use might be if you travel a lot and love to read but don't like lugging books around.

Yes, I do own an iPod. 120GB iPod classic, and for the record it was a present.

Apple makes computers for people who don't know the finer points of working a computer. And that's good. Do we really want to give people too much freedom to ignorantly slow down the more elite market of computer users?

It's like having a kid's table so that the nice silverware is less likely to wind up stuck in someone's nose.

I don't hate Apple. I own both a current gen Ipod Classic 120gig and an Iphone, and both work perfectly. I haven't had issues with either product. I also like Itunes.
I'm not a massive fan of Apple's ethos, but that doesn't stop their products from doing their job.

The Ipad doesn't have a place in this world, from where i stand. It is in an awkward position between an Iphone and a Laptop. It can't perform the tasks required of an Iphone, and it isn't as efficient as a Laptop. It's like it's trying to fill a void in the electronics market that doesn't exist.
I like the fact that the current adds running for it start with 'What is Ipad?' 'Ipad is thin'. Yes. That's your major selling point..?
I too was astonished at it's popularity.

/r/ing that side-by-side of the PDA that came out a few years ago that does literally everything an iPad does PLUS USB and headphone jack compatibility plus some more stuff I can't remember.

I dislike apple but I do own an iPod touch and a macbook

I have already replaced the ipod touch with a htc hero and I'm planning on replacing the macbook with an alienware m11x before the end of the year.

The ipod was pretty good admittedly, but I wish I could go back in time and slap myself for buying the macbook, mostly because It can't play games and xcode is a b*tch to use.

I don't hate Apple, I dislike Macs and the only reason I don't like those things is simply because they seem less user friendly. I just don't understand them. But either way, I don't have an iPod because the system for getting music on them pisses me off, I much prefer my cheap mp3.

As Albus Dumbledore said, neglect and apathy can do far worse damage than outright dislike...or something along those lines...I don't think it counts as much when you are neglecting a large corporation though. Anyway, I don't care about the brand. I don't hate the brand and if anything am envious of the stupid amount of money they make. I do not own an ipod though but, plan to get one or possibly more once I find a way to hack their vending machines.

I love Apple and I have an Iphone, Ipod, Ipad and a macbook. The way I see it, Microsoft is just better with gaming. While that is a big part of my life, I do other stuff.

Actually i'd say ipads and iphones are the only real reasons to own an apple device. so far as computers and laptops go i'd have windows based every time, and if not then my second choice would be linux.

I own an iPod, which for all intentions and purposes works fine. Most people use them, a lot of docks are made for them and it does what I need it to. Price wasn't an issue in my case as it was a present.

However, on a whole, I hate Apple. Why? They're stupidly overpriced and omit obvious features (see: no camera on the iPad) only for us to see them return in the next model to get people to buy another piece of hardware. Honestly, if people prefer the Mac OS over Windows, that's fine by me. If the extra price they pay is justified to them by purchasing the OS, I respect that.

Sadly, a lot of Mac users aren't informed and buy Macs because their exteriors look nice. This is what annoys me. That and the fact that you can easily buy a PC half the price of a Mac and get the same performance.
