Yeah, I hate them because they are incredibly unfair and the reasons for making games or dlc exclusives are usually pretty weak. For "Star Wars: The Force Unleashed" for example, it came out on every bloody console, but they stubbornly refused to make a PC version, because they believed that since you can't really predict what one person will have for their PC, they didn't want to have to water-down the experience so that every PC gamer could play it (this of course, coming from the same people who released versions of the game for the Wii and the PS2, both of which have nearly identical graphics capabilities). Another example is that new DLC that just came out for those lucky console owners of the new Prince of Persia game. All console owners could get the DLC, but once again, PC players couldn't get it because "they were afraid people would steal it". Okay, here's a little news for you Ubisoft, PEOPLE ARE ALWAYS GOING TO TRY TO RIP OFF YOUR GAMES, it's a business risk no matter what kind of business that you are in. And again, there was Infamous which is a basic exclusive, that might've played well on the PC.
Ultimately, though, I think its only a matter of time before the gaming industry in general realizes that exclusives only hurt them in the long run. Because it can contribute to a person's reasons not to buy from a particular company (like I have vowed never to buy anything from 2k Games).
