I only have a problem with it if someone makes a movie about it.
Internet content is easily ignored.

I started watching... then I couldn't stop! I'm so ashamed.
Anyway, I usually don't like it. There's the very rare occasion I'll lisen to it, but it is very rare.
Still, I don't think it should be damned to the deepest depth of hell. Just because some people don't like it doesn't mean no one will.
Like marmite.

I really thought my favorite band was immune to this, and yet...

I do believe they did this piece rather well, but maybe thats because the song is fast enough already...

Are we talking Falcetto here Ala coldplay, Or are we talking Hannah Montana Tweeniepop?

The first one is good, The latter is internet fodder designed too be extensively flamed.

Seems to depend on my mood. Sometimes cranky versions of songs can make me laugh, but usually because they're part of a bigger joke (stuff like the layered versions of the Lazytown pirate song on Youtube). Other songs at other moments are just plain annoying.

I hate it, especially if i search for a song I like on youtube (that I don't yet have on itunes) and I get like 50 'last resort - chipmunk edition!' it butchers the song and music as a whole.

I happen to like it myself, I have a few albums of music that I have specifically "chipmunked". I think it sounds better, personally. It's too bad that more artists don't have the foresight to cash in on such an amazing genre.

Wrong. Just so very wrong.

As long it is a genre that would be "human" to do this. Metal+chipmunked= My ears are burning!!!!!!

My ears went numb after I heard a chipmunks song(I know I'm not telling the truth my ears didn't go numb)it was the lat couple of days in school and my teacher turns it on. After an hour of high pitched yelling from fictional creatures my ears felt like there was a human dog whistle being blown an inch from my ears
