Poll: Do you have a 3DS?

Don't have one and don't really plan on getting one either. Saving my money and interest for the Vita as that's going to be a wiser purchase for me when it comes to portables. I'm sure the 3DS software will pick up eventually but right now it's pretty bleak, and the software for the Vita is more appealing to me as well.

I have one, traded in a DS Lite to get $50 off, which was nice. Otherwise, I probably would have waited for the inevitable price drop. Its technically a good system but yeah, the lineup is pretty lean right now.

I have one. I call it Street Fighter 3DS, because until I get my hands on Ocarina of Time, that's all it plays.

Actually, what I really hate is that 3DS games aren't playable on older systems, so I couldn't play the new Ocarina of Time if I wanted to. Unless I am terribly misinformed, which I wouldn't mind too much.

You're really gone to hate the fact that you can't play PS3 games on PS2 or PS1.

Asuku, what I meant was, when the DS lite came out, older DS owners weren't cheated out of new DS games. If the 3D just didnt work on older systems, then ok, but the games just don't work at all.

I might get one, but only if they have a wider selection of games and/or has backwards compatibility for at least the GBA. So, no, I don't own one, but once there have been some improvements, I'll possibly look into it.

not planning on getting one, i find the GBA port on my Lite more valuable then 3D.

I'm crazy about Nintendo's handhelds, but I wasn't going to get one at launch because I have no money. Then my dad suprised me with one and Lego Star Wars III (Which I don't care much for despite being a fan of the animated series and tolerant of the previous LEGO games). Now, I'm using it for more than a bulky MP3 player since Ocarina of Time is out.

If I wanted to get into handheld gaming, I'd go for the DS, since by this point it's cheap and has a huge library of games. If I wanted to go more modern, I'd simply get a smartphone and get into apps. And if I wanted a modern dedicated handheld, I'd get something of Sony's. I'm not interested in 3DS's gimmick and I don't really see the point of a handheld gaming device with a 2 hour battery life...

I get the whole "3d is overdone" thing, but in a portable console without glasses, it's just COOL! I was a bit nervous about getting one, but I'm happy with mine.

I got one, but it was a matter of timing. I have an old first gen fat DS so I was due an upgrade anyway, I checked it out in the store and it looked a lot better than I expected. Now all I need is a must buy 3d game, right now I am just playing regular DS games on it.

yeah, but only because I was able to trade enough stuff in to get it for less than $200,otherwise I would have waited until better games came out. OoT is as much of a blast as it always has been and I'm sold on the 3D after seeing it in a proper game, but will it keep me busy for the months it will take before Kid Icarus comes out? absolutely not.

Same here. I can't seem to find the Zelda Collector's Edition for Gamecube anywhere online anyway, so I guess OoT 3D will have to do for my classic gaming thrills.

I had a 3DS at one point, but I decided to return it because I wouldn't really have been able to get all the other games I wanted. I like 3D, and will definitely get one eventually.

If I'm honest I don't really care about 3D, I'm just a fan of the awesome games library Nintendo tends to have when it comes to handhelds.

I've got one and love it, but never had a DS (ok had one for awhile but it broke), and most of the games i've enjoyed are DS ones (although I have enjoyed the 3DS ones)

I tried the demo displays at the stores, that 3D is seriously painful. I got nothing out of it but crossed eyes and a headache which kind of sucks because I've been wanting a handheld console, and Nintendo's always made the best ones. I REALLY don't want the new PSP...
