Sadly yes...

I have two of the old shitty sixaxis controllers (Not the dualshock 3)
One of them really doesn't work too well now as the R2 button is way too easy to click.. and you find yourself shooting/throwing nades way too often..

I still need a new one though, i'm considering modding a controller.. Not to cheat as in turbo buttons and shit like that. Just to make it more comfortable and look pretty.

Well . I have 3 controllers. No need to touch mine. Touch mine and i start hitting you repeatedly at an increasingly harder rate.

My little brother and I had to mark our designated controllers for hygene issues. Little twerp gets sweaty hands like nobody's business. Nothing worse than a slimy controller.

Yes.
The HALO XBOX controller that you got with the HALO console
A mini gamecube controller that my brother got for me, sure, my hands were too big for it, but hell, I used it anyway because he doesnt get me gifts usually.
My Razer Mamba is not allowed to be touched by others.

Well, it seems fair to say, via the poll responses and the postings here, that the vast majority have a fondness for their own personal sticks.

This is really interesting, as I've only ever had one friend that was really anal about his controllers being used by anyone else. but he was that way about everything. One of those kids that never watched Sesame Street, i.e., never learned to share.

Hmmmmm.

My MW2 exclusive controller is just for me.

No one else gets to touch its pistol grip handles and make it all grubby.

Plus it's slighly more responsive than the normal 360 pad and gives me a little advantage. Could be a placebo effect but it sure feels that way.
Yeah I love it but the bad part is it doesn't work with my turtle beach headset well. :(. I think they should make all controllers that big though.

Yes! Finally someone else who has this problem.

Let me guess... a weird humming buzz noise every time you reload or the pad vibrates?

Well, I sure as hell won't let my parents get near any controllers... or the console. But with friends, no I don't really care although I might have to call dibs on my Splitfish Frag if a buddy wants to split screen any FPS.

I said no, but that isn't exactly accurate.

One day while taking a walk I noticed a wierd glow, off to the side I found a giant rock, and stuck into it roughly half way was this controller. I went to try and dislodge it from the rock and found it unusually easy. It began to glow, a beam of light shot from the sky, and choirs of angels began to sing. A voice only I could hear in my head informed me that by drawing the controller I was the true ordained KING of America, despite us having a President. All I had to do was wait to use the controller when a compadible console was designed. So far it has been sitting in wait. Every generation I try to use it, and so far have failed... however one day a compadible system will be revealed and I will take my rightful place as ruler of America.

My black wireless controller for the 360. Not because its special, but because the left stick is screwed up from being dropped a couple of times, and I don't want people to have to deal with it.

Uh, my friend used to have a silver gamecube controller only he could use.

I never did though.

I just grabbed the one I liked(when I had both versions of the NES controller) or just grabbed one because I had all the same GC controllers cept one was a madcatz... That was one I refused to use.

So I have it the other way. A controller I refuse to use!

Yes. I bought a new PS3 controller with my own money, and my brother's controller has dust and crud in the buttons, and I really don't like touching it so I can't really trust him with mine since he doesn't look after his own controller.
