I have possibly the laziest, fattest cat possible. When we got her from the shelter she'd just been neutered, and was kinda thin. A few months later we catch on that her constant nagging has resulted in a massive belly. We've had 4 other cats, none of them demand food like this one. She won't even chase the red dot..... I MEAN COME ON. Barely even looks at it.

I have a dog.
However I also love cats. It sucks that I have a allergy for cats and cant have one of my own.
If not i would have cats as a pet too.

I'd really like a cat, but our house is too small and my father doesn't like them...

I have 2 Greyhounds and 1 Italian Greyhound, which is basically a greyhound that's a foot tall. If you couldn't tell, my family really likes sighthounds :D

When I move out on my own and have a big enough place, I'll probably get a cat. I like dogs more, but cats are way less time consuming. I want a Bengal cat eventually, but considering how expensive they are it'll be a while until I can. Some of them cost more than my PC!

I don't have one but I intend to adopt a cat from the SPCA sometime this year.

I live in a small complex and pets aren't allowed but screw it:p

Nope. I'd like one, but the house I live in at the minute is a little small. Me and the girl I'm living with next year are thinking of getting some sort of scaly pet though - I wanted a snake but she wants a skink or some such reptile.

I do plan to get some pets once I have the space though - I'd love to have a cat and/or a dog around, it'd be great fun.

I have a pet, he's a black pommeranian called Spartacus... whenever you call him you have to do it in a really loud aggressive manner, just because he's a small dog with a big name.

I simply don't have the time or space for a pet. Every once in a while I start considering it again for a while, before I decide I like my freetime too much.
I had always assumed you had a pet gerbil or guinea pig!

I did as a kid. We had a male and a female and several litters of pups :)

But back then my parents at least made sure we took care of them, no I'd have to think of feeding it myself... I don't want to accidentally kill my pets due to lazyness...

No, because my landlord doesn't allow them. (Too bad there's no poll option for that.)
But I used to. I'm definitely a pet sort of person. Cats, mainly.
Of course, I've outlived all of my pets. And I don't like to continue adopting new ones to replace them - that seems a bit heartless.

Nope never had and never will. Ok sure I can buy a pet if I wanted to now but since I have no experience looking after one, I view it to be a big responsibility that I don't think I can handle without accidently neglect or having a hard time balancing looking after it and doing stuff I want to do.

I have considered a ferret. I dunno. It would certainly add to my things to take care of.
ferrets are a pain, we had two.

OP: I have two rabbits (one is a dwarf rabbit, the other is a dwarf cross though he is pretty big), my mother has another rabbit and guinea pigs and we also have budgies. We aren't able to have larger pets like a dog (nor do we have time for one), and my parents hate cats

i have a 15 year old Himalayan named Whiskers, he's a storm cloud blueish grey colour and i had him since i was 8 and he's my baby since i dont want children. i wuv him very much * huggles him *

i have a 6 year old half short half long furred Chihuahua named Coco, her fur colour is like a chocolate doberman but she has fluffy crazy ears. she's freakin adorable and the cuddly dog i've ever had.

also...i make really weird nicknames for my pets

Whisker's is usually Bee doo, Shmoo or Shmee

for Coco its usually Co Ca, Coco puff, or Dewdew.

i dont know why they get weird pet names but it just happens hahah my whole family does it. our pets have ALOT of nicknames.

Got 2 huskies

The boy is brown and white, while the girl is black and white

Used to breed them but stopped cuz it was a hassle and we didn't make much profit

I have a dog and cat that live with my parents. I live about 2 hours away from them for school, and do not have anything in my apartment because I wouldn't have time to take care of them between class and work
