The question is, Escapists, do you have unlimited internet? I will be getting next year, our country is not very advanced when it comes to public service, so uncapped has only come here recently for anything less than the price of your soul.

Also, do you have high quality fast internet with quick downloads or something considerably less?

Never heard of it, so I guess I don't have it capped. Woo?

And damn your witty foresight; "How to internet" type comments are the greatest.

Nope. But it should be. I mess around too much, and need to focus on school and getting as job.

Yes, it's made out of tin foil and I wear it every time I use internet so the eeeevil aliens, religion, reptilians, FBI, and so on can't get in my head!

More on topic, I have somewhat of a cap on internet at home.

It's good, fast internet, but if I download more then 100 gigs per month I pay extra =/

Comcast cable internet, unlimited use, spotty quality, occasional service drop-outs for a second or two while playing games.

Edit: Wrong! Got a call this morning from my cable provider saying that last month I nearly doubled my cap and any further violations will result in being banned from service for a year.

Nope, no cap. My stepdad is some kind of... IT guy... and works from home most of the time so we need a speedy connection.

No cap, and as far as I know no ISP in Norway have caps on their lines.
One had, but was quickly out competed by the companies that did not.

We're lucky here in Norway I guess.

Unlimited, I couldn't imagine being rationed.
I hear that.
If it's capped then what is the point of having broadband?

Capped? you mean as in some type of child-safety lock?

I myself am free to explore every dark corner the internet has.

Yes My internet is not limited...
You really should check your alternatives. They seem a bit counterintuitive... just saying.

I never knew that there are caps. I've heard of ISP rolling back bandwidth when a customer is doing some heavy Internet usage, but never heard of a cap. What countries and/or ISPs have caps?

100 gigs? You call that a cap, I couldn't download that in a year. My cap is 5 gigs a month, sad, I know. You are a lucky internet swimming fish.

100 gigs? You lucky bastard, I pay extra if I go over 30 =/

And I'm on 40 at the moment...

Out of curiosity, who are you with?

I know, I was actually thinking of adding a "poll failed" to the poll but I am tired and fuelled solely on dark chocolate at the moment so I couldn't think.

Well, my country has caps, South Africa. A very small cap at that.

No limits as far as I'm aware, which is good considering I've started using the Steam store more frequently.
