i saw this thread a minute ago stating that there are more DS's sold than there are people in japan.

so question for all you escapists, do you have a Nintendo DS?
EDIT:I don't have one although there are two in my household.

Nope, I haven't got one... don't really do much portable gaming, and so the iPod Touch serves me fine whenever I do get the urge to play on the move.

But ever since the Gold and Silver remakes I been wanting a DS badly.

I have thought about getting one, although all I would probably play on it would be the Final Fantasy Tactics Advance game on it or Pokemon. I probably will not get one though.

Hell yeah I do, my big clunky blue DS has seen a lot of miles. There are tons of awesome games for the DS-- and if you have an R4 card it also serves as a portable emulator.

I'm not a fan of handhelds. I like gaming on a big screen.

Still, I'd maybe like to try out Professor Layton, if only for the cozy animation cutscenes.

I got one for Christmas (because I heard about Okamiden and Golden Sun DS), and have enjoyed it immensely. Got to catch up on my Zelda too

Still got my Original DS from when it came out. From then on never upgraded. I haven't picked up anything new for it since Pokemon Platinum, but I always have it with me on trips.

I have one... which I rarely use.
In fact I play Soltaire on the DS a lot more than Mario Kart, The New Mario Bros, all the RPGS I have for it, Order of Ecclesia, Scribblenauts or Squad Command. That's because, for a portable system, they take too long for you to start playing. It takes you so long that you might as well be in front of your PC playing some other game.

Yes, I have a DS phat. No, I don't play it. Haven't in over a year. Handheld systems are great if you're going somewhere and can dedicated some time to playing a game. I rarely have that ability, and I don't get chauffeured anywhere.

No ability to play while traveling. No reason to play when not traveling.

No, the only Gameboys I have are an old "Gameboy light" and "Gameboy advance sp". I only bought em to play Pokemon, but since Ruby and Sapphire I haven't bought any new pokemon game and so I don't have any reason to by a new gameboy.

I had a Nintendo Ds. Traveled around with it alot, then the airlines lost the baggage with my ds in it a few years ago.

Never bought another one.
