Thought about it but my PSP doesn't even get much use these days. So, I doubt a DS would be treated any differently.

Yes, I have a big, silver coloured DS. I don't play that much any more though. Might get Spirit Tracks some day.

I have a DS Slim and a DSi.
Used to play a lot on them, and Pictochat was always guaranteed fun.
But most of the time i chat and multiplay with my mates on PSN.

Did not read the OP. Next time you make a topic, PLEASE put the TOPIC in the TOPIC.

And no, I do not have a Hyperdrive XL. Try the moonbase down the street.

The only times that I usually need a handheld is on long trips, but these days, I'm either driving or sleeping.

got mine 4 years ago on my holyday trip to america. ah yes, burgers, burritos, and overweight circuit-city employees. got it for a nice price tho :D

don't have many games tho, just mario 64 and metroid prime hunters which i got with it, and then last year i got squad command. still, got a nice library of GBA games to play on it, even if it's just for the one-hour trip to the uni.

The Nintendo DS.

i saw this thread a minute ago stating that there are more DS's sold than there are people in japan.

so question for all you escapists, do you have a Nintendo DS?
EDIT:I don't have one although there are two in my household.

I'm quite sure there are more DS's than people right now since most people I know get a new DS yearly.
I think its because they are fragile. Like mobile phones they tend to fall often (specially in the hands of children) but unlike mobile phones they crack/brake easily.

i'm not a portable-gamer, that is: i don't play going somewhere, but there are some pretty decent games for the DS, so yeah, i've got one
it's got some nice adventures, and Etrian Odyssey is just the kind of game that is meant to kick YOUR ass instead of the other way around; a hard and unforgiving dungeon crawler, just like the good old days ^^

also, i can sit in my armchair and game a little, you cannot do that with a pc; even a gaming notebook let's you play quite as comfortable

Yeah, the second I saw the whole 'touch screen' gimmick I was all over it. But after the awesomeness wore off it just became a regular gameboy so I completely overlooked the DSi

Nope, the thing just doesn't seem worth the investment to me with nothing of substantial value on it. All the games that interest me still don't warrant a purchase from me, I just find the system rather unappealing really. It's a good system, but it wasn't good enough on that faithful day I chose to go with a PSP instead, and in my eyes it still isn't good enough for me.

I don't, but I'm always playing my boyfriends and he said he'd buy me one. A shop near me does cheap R4 cards too.

I don't have one, but my husband does. He loved it at first but hasn't used it in about a year, I think.

I don't have one, but I bought one for my girlfriend when then first came out. I'd like to get one for myself, though. They have some pretty neat games.
