I was just going to post something on this sie right here. I thought it was a good response to someone, untill I read it. I thought to myself, What a wonderfull world I have nothing to contribute to this thread, and if I posted this, I'd upset me.

Sometimes I write out an entire response before realizing it is absolutely horrible and abandoning it.

Sometimes I don't abandon it and I write something pretty stupid.

I find it rather difficult to join in a forum discussion if it is obvious people in the thread know more about the topic than I do. I really hate feeling like a liability. I have been known to attempt it in the past, but I usually just end up embarassing myself.

It happens quite frequently, especially if I forget what I was going to type and run away.

I sometimes just start typing, then realise that what I'm writing is stupid or not funny and type right onto the ctrl & W keys to end the madness.

I sometimes start typing but then when I look back over my post before I press post sometimes I think "what the hell was I thinking 5 seconds ago." then I delete the post and then try to type it over again so it sounds better or is better for all involved.

Yes, unfortuanatly it sometimes doesn't kick in until the damage is done.

Yeah, more often than not, really.

I usually just reply in threads that doesn't have many replies yet, implied that I have a valid point to make, given there is a good discussion topic.

Other times I spend 10 minutes writing a post, and then delete it just because I don't bother posting it.
