I do. The only people I don't help are clipboard-wielding maniacs in town... if you can call standing and talking to them "helping".
I get pretty disgusted with humanity sometimes when it comes to this stuff. I was walking back from Uni one afternoon, and a guy on a wheelchair was coming towards me. I'm not entirely sure what happened - I think his wheels clipped a manhole cover or something - but he went flying forward out of his wheelchair and pretty much landed on his face.
Guess how many people stopped to help? Just me. I'm not trying to blow my own horn here, just venting about the fact none of the 6 or so other people no farther away from him than me stopped to help.
He seemed genuinely surprised that I offered to help him to his chair, and I don't blame him.
Did anyone ever see those "tests" they did a few years ago, where they had an actor just lie in the middle of a street and see how many people stopped to help? The unsurprising results were on the local news over here (Wales).
