I never figured out how to do that, and besides, I probably don't have enough storage space to do it anyway.

I've had to do it for GTA IV, Skate 2 and prototype, mostly because my 360 Pro's disk drive sucks. and I can't play those titles for more than 5-15 minutes before they freeze up :\. And it makes a ton quieter and makes them run smoother.

When I went though my Fallout phase I did just to shorten the load times but uninstalled it shortly after.

I can only fit one game at a time on my hard drive, being that I have a good bit of music and save data on my already small 20 GB HDD. The only game I've installed is Resident Evil 5, and even though I still have about 5.3 GB left, when before I installed the game it was around 13.1 GB left, that's not enough to install another game.

I install some of my games, usually the ones I really like, or games I play somewhat frequently. It makes the games load faster, and it makes the system run cooler and quieter. It can get really annoying trying to listen to dialogue in a game when the system sounds like an F-35 in vertical take-off.

I definitely do it if I know for a fact I'm gonna be playing the game for awhile, or if I know there's going to be a loading time improvement or some other change for the positive. It's also more quiet, so I do it more often than not.
