Voted both -> force of habit I suppose. It happens on consoles, but not mouse and keyboard.
Just noticed the nice post from the man 2 posts above -> I suppose we all do it on flight sims, don't we? But I can't even remember the last time I played one.
I never invert any axis, I always play the way the game intended me to, I've never had a problem with it so far, I figure the game devolopers must have known what they were doing right?
i only invert it so that up, down, left and right movements make the same movement on screen. i have found some games where the controls are inverted by default
I tend to play a single game at a time, so I've almost always found it easier to get used to whatever format a given game uses with one exception: PoP Warrior Within. Only game where I've ever inverted the Y axis for the mouse.
My friends and I are half and half on this. I prefer to have my controls inverted, as does one friend. The other two don't. So whenever we're trading off controllers, it gets kinda annoying having to switch it back and forth.
I invert my Æ axis...
And I consider all who only plays in 2d or 3d as opposed ti 7-dimensional games to be lower lifeforms who should bow to my awesomeness
