Yes. I know because I was taught by my grandmother at a very early age how to properly handle a broom.

I am still trying to master the art of flying on one but I do know how to use it to sweep floors and shoo people/animals away. And know how to use it to hit someone over the head with it and knock em out. I sweep my kitchen fairly often. and swept my friends house up the other day since we are working on moving her out and it needed to be done. Badly. Why would you not know how to use a broom?

Because I've been to an actual course that instructs you how to sweep with a minimum of dust flying around.

No. I can picture clearly what to do in my head, but every time I pick one on I INEXPLICABLY smash it through the nearest wall and use it like a trampoline. No idea why.

I'm trying to ascertain the purpose of this thread. Irony? An experiment? The conventional wisdom about most people being fairly dim is true, but it isn't true to this extent, or in this way, as stupid is a choice. Think of it in terms of video game logic, remembering that the overwhelming majority of Escapists are proficient gamers.

You see a broom leaning against the wall. You see dust/dirt/small debris littering the floor. You don't even need to see a dustpan to understand the connection.

...unless, like the first poster said, it's the middle ages and you've eaten some moldy bread and accidentally discovered LSD. Then you see witches everywhere, and because of your and your village's collective ignorance, the non-witch witches are murdered in most unsavory ways.
