Well, a few years ago I took a test on a website and I think it was, like, 124? But who knows how accurate that was...

137 (as part of a Psychology paper on intelligence in different cultures) - although the only thing that an IQ Test really measures is your ability to take said test...

129(or so). I was examined by a neurologist when I was eleven or so(don't ask why). It might have changed since then.

I do know my score, but it is worthless telling it to anyone. Seriously, you can't get anything out of showing off a number.

But, y'know, mine is a quadruple digit number. I am omnipotent, fools!

... well, technically tied for the highest score in human history, with Kim Ung-yong, a Korean with a verified IQ of 210.
He was able to read in Japanese, Korean, German, and English at the age of four... the same age he also started solving calculus problems.

He was invited to live and study in the United States at the behest of NASA when he was seven, and received his PhD in Physics at 16.
He also has a PhD in Civil Engineering.
And, according to wikipedia, "He is known for being an avid masturbator."

Man, if there's some sort of link there, I should be a genius...

184....
and that was in second grade. I think it should have increased by now, considering I've never done anything to damage my brain (although I did visit 4chan a few times). I was a member of MENSA, but I didn't want to pay the member fee's so I dropped out.

EDIT: Hmm, bad memory. I think it was either 164 or 174. I just remember it was about 150.
Your IQ drops if you get older. You should know that if you are that smart.
Actually the drop off rate begins around mid 20's.
Well I don't know how old you are so.

Having done a proper test under the watchful eye of a qualified gp, I can report that my IQ is 172. That said, having a high IQ doesn't make you smart. What does, I can't say, I'm not qualified, but I do know that high IQ people are just as prone to sheer idiocy as people with low IQs.

I've often wondered if the old idiom that ignorance is bliss is true, but as one of those darned thinking types, I guess I'm destined to be depressed, what with being able to understand exactly what IS going on in the world, as opposed to what the ignorant believe is going on.

Like I already mentioned - Sadness increases with intelligence.

Idiot doesn't care that euro and dollar are getting stronger. So he's happy in his little world.

By the way, all of the Internet tests (except for high IQ society ones, like Mensa or the likes) are NOT viable. Only country-wide or bigger are viable.

Fair enough, I turned 18 last June.

I absolutely agree with everything you've said. Hence why I had my test done through a qualified GP. Only 8 points off qualifying for a mensa application, sucky eh? Ah well, I prefer to hang with so-called "average" people. It's far more fun, and isn't that the whole point of life? To enjoy yourself? The few times I've hung out with the Intelligencia Brigade, I've wanted to dish out smacks upside the head.

[Edit] I did have that test done a few years ago. It's entirely possible that I've lost a number of points through aging and trying to avoid the intellectual elitism that often comes with a high IQ. Can't say I've succeeded, but at least I've tried.

It was 124 years ago. But the systematic abuse of junk food I have indulged in since then probably means it is half that now.

Not to nag or anything, but I think I know the reason for my social problems.

With an IQ of 148 at the age of 12, I had only one person in my class at equal level. Everyone else was just inferior when it came to a conversation. I had to dumb down everything I say, because they had a hard time understanding me. Teachers didn't, they were actually surprised I have such a huge dictionary. Terms that were easy to me were too hard for everyone, except for the aforementioned person.

Then in middle school everyone was an idiot. I'm trying to forget most of the people from those 3 years of my life, as they don't deserve to be remembered.

At least now in high school I'm with equals, because to get into a Spanish-languaged class you had to be in top30 on a test. I was 2nd out of 150 people.

So I have to say - I envy people with less than 130 IQ. At least you have more people to relate to.

My brain imploded late 2005, so I have been afriad to check ever sense. An I.Q. test can only check home many cylinders you have firing at one given hour in time, as long as your 75-85+.

No idea.
But according to my school psychologist, I am officially a gifted child (teen, whatever), thus ending the "Vidjimagames kill your brains!" argument once and for all.
