In different tests I took I scored between 100 and 142.
The 100 was an IQ test in a different language than my mother language and I skipped all the language related questions. (excuses excuses :D)
I'm probably around 130 or so, which would be considered 'gifted'

Doesn't make it any easier to concentrate on studying. :p

I haven't tested it in about 7-8 years so I don't remember the exact number, but I do remember the score was in the high 160's.

When I was tested in elementary school, my IQ was 142; unfortunately I don't know what test exactly it was but apparently that's pretty high. I distinctly remember that when the woman conducting the test asked me to rearrange some shapes on the table I said, "Do I have to?" So when we got the results of the test she had written that I don't want to do anything unless it's absolutely necessary LOL.

You DO all realize (for anyone claiming above a 125 IQ) that those B.S. internet quizzes do NOT accurately assess your IQ, right? Anyone claiming above 132 should be a doctoral candidate based on their score.

Like I said, READ the f*cking arguments that we went over in the other poll. My FIRST argument was That it would be increadably ignorant of me if I tried to prove my intellect every moron in the world.
Why do you capitalise the T in that?

...and telling people to go to another thread to see how you got flamed is pretty bad...

2. Many of my ideas and views are overlooked due to my age(18 this april) the scientific community is lined in old traditions that prevent anyone of this day and age to do anything notable anymore.

By the way - you guys do realize that having an high IQ means your only good at taking IQ tests - hence the major flaw in the whole IQ theory. It really has very little to do with overall intelligance.

If you took a lot of IQ tests, your IQ would significantly increase because you would become knowledgeable in how to beat these tests - hence why the below poster may not be lieing, but who's real IQ does not match that which he is claiming.

Yes, last week actually. Since my intelligence is a major flaw of my personality, I've never been able to find someone special(a.k.a. girlfriend), so I have way to much time on my hands. Taking I.Q. tests are one way of killing this lonely, unused time.

..Another grammar mistake in the bolded area...(I didn't bold it for that reason).

There are studies that show this is true! I'm too lazy to dig them up though. They're not hard to find though.

NO I do not know my IQ as I refuse to take some dodgy, inaccurate internet test to find out.

My grandmother is a child developmental psychologist who used to teach at Stanford. She tested me when I was young for my IQ. She told me a few years ago that I my IQ was measured at 140. I don't know if that holds true today but that is what she determined then.

I was professionally tested, if you did it on the internet I don't believe your score.

Mine is 129. With a learning disability. Not freakin bad if I say so myself. (Form of dyslexia, I overlook certain letters when writing too fast, nothing huge but I screw up on the 'language' part quite frequently because of that)

Online I got roughly 150 odd. So no. Just no. Also IQ tests are stupid, I know high IQ'd people who are social retards figuratively speaking, and just never come out of their shell. It's just a matter of personality too. IQ isn't everything unless you use it.

Frankly, that isn't enough.

You can easily have 130+ IQ and still be a hopeless case, simply because IQ doesn't give you health, social skills or education.

Mine is lightly a lot lower than when I took the test, I've blown a few brain cells on beer, drugs and sausage rolls since then.
Damn those sausage rolls!
I knew there was a reason why I'm not working in particle physics yet!
