I like kids. The way I see it, their bad behaviour is more a result of shitty parenting, which is the real thing people should hate.

They take their kids places that bore the poor child to tears, then they wonder why the poor kid crys... some even yell at the kid for complaining about been bored. I wished the 3 year old would turn around and say "but mum, shopping all day is boring! all I do is stand around while you drink coffee, try on cloths, and walk around shopping for ages!"

I find that having my own son desensitizes me to all but the most annoying kids.
I dont like most other kids because they might be a bad influence on my son when he gets older. That and I don't like most other people whether they are young or old.

Oh man, I couldn't agree more.
The parents seem to be the main reason why kids are getting a shitty reputation here. They, like you said, take them places where they're bored shitless and the parents yell at them why, not to mention that they don't get a good grasp on what they do. They just let them run around chaotically and do nothing.

So yeah, I like kids but like them even more when they have good parents.
