I extremely dislike Disturbed as they only seem to yell...That and when ever you bring a friend over and All you want to do is listen to classical music(so as to be in a moment of irony) while playing halo they seem to think its appropriate to jam the disk they apparently carry around with them into your PC then turn up the speakers way loud while playing halo. They are a complete ear sore and Honestly I can't really imagine why'd anyone would like it.I'd listen to the Nirvana band instead.

...Was that anecdote supposed to be relatable?

Personally, first I heard of them I had mixed feelings. About 4-5 of the tracks on 10,000 Fists were ok, I thought Deify and I'm Alive stood out, but the rest weren't anything to write home about.
Then I heard The Sickness and thought they were much better. I know others dislike them, but I think they're pretty damn good, although I'm starting to lose interest now. Only 1 or 2 tracks on their latest foray which I really liked.

But it's moot, anyway. It's personal taste. Listening to other people's views on music is tricky, and I think it only matters what you like. So long as you listen to what you like, and don't lie to yourself, everything's good.

i find the lyrics to be smart and actually work for the songs subject

I like the song "Stricken" alot. Apart from that, about every other song of their's suffers from "DragonForce" syndrome in that it sounds all about the same with slight variations. So pretty much one or two songs by them will sate my thirst for their music. I think "Down With The Sickness" is okay, I like "Stricken" better, and that's all I listen to by them.

I voted "They're all right".

Deathcore is better.

Used to like Disturbed. Saw em once in L.A., pretty good show. Not so much anymore. They're kinda moving away from metal and into rock, which isn't really my thing.

Side note: If you like disturbed, In Flames is great. I like em better.

You want some good Hard Rock, check out Lordi. If you're disappointed I shall come and find you, and harm you, with WORDS!
Ahhh, Lordi. The only hard rock band to have won Eurovision (that was just fantastic.)

Although I have started listening to more Rammstien than anything else.
Rammstein is an excellent choice. Also, Emigrate is an english band started by Richard Krusp, Rammstein's guitarist. You should check em out.

I did but the roster I was sent was a bunch of grunge bands.
I only went in for the main stage. Lordi, Static X (sucked ass), Lamb of God, and the Ozzman.
