Poll: Do you like RPG's?

It's a simple question really, do you like to play role playing games -RPG's-?
If so which do you like to play, and which do you not like to play?
I have lately been playing alot of RPG's and have been wondering if other people like them as well, because I've heard much controversy as to wether RPG's are good or bad, so what's your opinion?

Also which type of RPG do you like? -WRPG, JRPG...-

I like to play good RPG games.

There are plenty of them I hate, but when done good, it's one of my favorite genres.

I love RPGs more than any other game genre, and there's no real limit as to what I don't like. I like most. My favorites are the ones made by BioWare, though. KotOR is the absolute greatest thing ever made.

However, it's hard to determine what exactly makes an RPG nowadays, though. Most games tend to put RPG elements in somewhere. What may be closer to RPGs tend to put in elements from other games. Look at Mass Effect. Is it an action game with RPG elements or vice versa? There aren't many games that you can describe as just being RPGs any more.

One thing about RPGs, though; the reason I like them so much is because I'm truly a person that would take a game with a great story and mediocre gameplay over a game with great gameplay and no story.

Both of you, that's like saying "I like hamburgers, but only when the meat isn't raw." Obviously you won't like bad RPGs. At least, I hope people don't like bad RPGs.

But yeah, I usually enjoy RPGs quite a deal. Although it depends on the game's style and theme.

I love KotOR, Morrowind, Deux Ex, and many other RPGS.

The RPG that killed me was FFVII.

Yes I woould most definately agree, what's the point in playing a game if you can't enjoy the story, that's like buying a movie and only listening to the audio.

I like following a storyline, the exploring, and of course, playing a role. I've liked most RPGs that I've played, although I have a preference for less generic ones, especially those that combine elements of other genres of games. Also, RPGs just last for so long.

Yes, I love rpg's such as The Elder Scrolls Morrowind and Oblivion, Mass Effect 1+2, and Fallout 3.

I'm not huge on fully-turn-based rpg's.

Yes, I like RPGs... a whole lot.

Almost entirely western ones though, I only like JRPGs that feature Mario (Paper Mario, Mario and Luigi, Mario RPG etc...)

Especially ones made by Bioware, who are arguably the king of western RPGs.
