I hate suits... They're so uncomfortable. I prefer my worn-in jeans, a t-shirt, and a zip-up hoodie.

I would rather be 100% comfortable than look good.
A good tailored suit can be the most comfortable thing you will wear! Now cheap, shiny polyester suits... uncomfortable as shit and never a good look.

Of course! It just feels so...dignified. Especially since I can brag to friends about my ability to actually tie my tie!

I often feel to hot in a suit, plus I'd be super scared, freaking out, paranoid all the time that I'll get something on my suit as I can't just stick it in the machine to wash it. I never wear one when I go out, I tried it once and it was pointless as it's always too hot in clubs to wear one and you can't really put it down anywhere.

Plus, and here's the kicker, its easier to dance in normal clothes. Case closed.

I find most formal clothing incredibly uncomfortable. Only one time have I worn dress shoes I really, really liked (rented unfortunately). Some shirts are actually okay but the suit jacket always makes me feel uncomfortable. Pants can be an issue too.

I'd rather go T-shirt and jeans than dress up but it depends on the situation.

I'm not a fan of suits or formal wear. I think they can look great on slim people, but I'm overweight and hate the way that suits look on me.

Yes. I love looking ridiculously smart. Though sometimes I wear a hoody under my jacket just for a pinch of casual.

I've owned both. Neither were very comfortable to me. I don't even own more than two collared shirts and a pair of dress pants either. I'm very picky about my clothes.

A suit consists of a blazer (jacket), shirt, trousers, tie and black shoes, with an optional jumper or waistcoat?

That's pretty much my school uniform. You don't feel that special when there's 967 others wearing the same thing!

The awesomeness is somewhat diminished as I have to wear a terrible blazer-and-tie, which I'm not sure even counts as a suit, for my school uniform. But when I get a smart job and a healthy pay-check, I'm going to get a proper tailored suit (I think I'll ask for one for my 18th birthday).

The only proper time I get to suit up to any real extent is when I'm doing parade with my cadet contingent in the Navy section (got Remembrance parade coming up - just march through town looking smart XD)and I get a cool white shirt, black tie, epaulettes, shiny shoes and brassards... classy.

I don't like it at the moment because I wear my dad's old grey suit from the 80s (shuddering ensues)

I did love wearing a kilt at my Prom, however. Felt a real man (and the breeze :p )

I'd love to suit up if I had an appropriate suit

I wore a school uniform like that. Trust me, the real deal are far more comfortable than that crap you wear at school.

I've often found that being the owner of a half domesticated beard doesn't really work well with a suit, but I do like to wear them. As I'm going bald I keep thinking about shaving my head completely and ditching the beard, so I'd look like agent 47 after he's gained a hundred pounds.

The closest thing to a suit in my wardrobe is a combination of black jeans and a blazer.
I don't have ties, bowties and all the "sharp dressed man" palifenaria like cuff links, pins and all the other junk.
Give me sturdy jeans, a tshirt and some decent shoes and i'll be fine.

I've never really had the chance to wear a suit. I've been to only a few formal events, and I've settled for a shirt and tie at those times.
Nowadays, I'm lucky if I can find a shirt that fits me. Damn tall and slender body build!

I don't have a problem with suits in general. I just have a thing against long sleeves. I always roll the sleeves up. I've even rolled my jacket sleeves up from time to time, but normally I just take the jacket off.

I love the dignified and formal aura you get around you.

It just makes me feel like I have a purpose I guess, and I'm not slouching around playing video games all day for once.
