I think, if I were normal, I would love them the way society tells me to.
Excluding the fact that I hate being told what to do (even by my instincts,) I never got the "I don't like you, but I'll always love you," shit my mother feeds me.
It's like, "I am fairly certain that is not even possible."

I had a very nice childhood (or so I'm told.)
And her not liking me sincerely doesn't matter - if a stranger on the street told me to fuck off because I was too ugly to stand near him, I'd probably care more (seriously, that shit is hurtful. I am pretty as fuck.)

Only because I have to. I feel very isolated from my family most of the time. Particularly from my brothers. I would avoid them like the plague were they not in my family. Hell, in the current state of affairs I avoid them a fair bit. Yeah, my parents aren't so bad, but my relationship with my brothers is a lost cause.

Yeah I love my family. They have their flaws, obviously. My mom is cheap, my sister is bossy, my dad is a colossal moron at times, but I still love them. They are good people that love me, and I love them back.

Well my mums awesome most of the time, she lets my boyfriend stay for as long as he wants and he can sleep in my bed which a lot of friends find weird because their mum's are strict.
My siblings are a pain in the arse, but I owe a lot to them and I love them.
And my nieces and nephews are the best thing that's ever happened to me :3

I <3 my mommy and daddy but my sister's a pain in the ass. She used to make me do all the physical chores when we were kids (raking, shoveling snow, etc.) because it's "weird for a girl to do it." I'd BAWWW to my parents but that didn't do any good what-so-ever. She broke every laptop she owned because she would fall asleep with it and kick it off her bed and make my dad spend hours fixing it. The only reason she wasn't kicked out was her 3.7/3.8 GPA
