I am a U.S. citizen that grew up in Japan. I used to hate America, but after living here for four years, I'm not so sure why some people hate it so much.

Hate, definitely. Wanted to leave by the time I turned 10, but was stuck there until I could move out and go abroad. To this day, I consider it essentially the prison of my youth. There was nothing there except dirt, heat and ignorance. I can't stand any of those.

Were you born in Japan or have dual citizenship?

My feelings about England used to be a bit reserved, but now that I'm moving to the UAE in July I want to stay more then anything.

I like Britain, but I despise certain parts of it, e.g. the Chav, and the old people that think anyone under the age of 30 wants to knick their wallet.

If you're looking for a 5 bedroom house 25 minutes from London then we should talk :)

I tend to dislike it, but not nearly as much as I'd dislike living almost anywhere else.

I love Australia, the place, and Australia, the culture, but Australia the country can go to hell. The government is a stride or two away from being absolute, thrives on overcharging and misrepresenting the people, and has an odd tendency to treat Australians like convicts. Funny that.

If I could have the first two without the third, Australia would be a wonderful place. But as is, I'd rather turn my back on it entirely than contribute to it's existence.

All nations are made up, exclusivist concepts. Uk does have some nice geography though.
