Like all Scots I love my country despite the shittyness in fact because I accept the shittyness Scotland seems a lot better. The part I'm in specifically - Livingston which is the arsehole of nowhere inbetween Edinburgh and Glasgow - is far enough away from any Neds or Weegies to be any bother.
Besides everyone here is a foul-mouthed xenophobic junkie so we all get along.

I enjoy living here, but I wouldn't say I love/like my country. Because patriotism makes no sense to me.

Sweden is a pretty good country as far as they go... I mean we have an awesome music industry (metal music for life!), the most badass ancestors the vikings, one of the greatest intelectual societies in the world and beautifull terrain.

But I dont "love" my country, I like it here, but I have plans of moving elsewhere when I have the oportunity to. No matter where I go though Ill always think of myself as a reall Swede.

Sweden is fucking awesome. I am allowed to ***** about it because I live here (hell, it's basically patriotism) but that doesn't mean I don't love the country.

Sure it may be cold and we may have the army equivalent to a couple of chimps with pointy sticks but we have a history full of awesome, our country is beautiful and our culture is fantastic.

I like it, it came third in a "countries with the highest standard of living". So it could use some improvement but it's about as good as it can get. I don't love it, but I think I'm just fed up with it after living here for 20 years. I would rather live in England at the moment. Or maybe... Australia.
(I live in Sweden BTW)

I used to like it, but the current government is rapidly turning everything I liked about it to utter shit.

I like holland it's people and the chances it has given me sofar and hopefully will continue to provide me

further more we honor those that died during the WWII today, with 3 minutes of silence and I'd like to personally remember those that died for our liberty and more so those that died for no reason.

I know it's the internet but they deserve my thoughts and those of any that could spare them

If my plans go through, I will leave the US for a very long time...I'd like to come back much later, but I notice my friends' parents who have plans to return to India seem to be pessimistic about ever being able to return. But even if I never come back, I will always be American until the day I die.

I want to leave to go live outside the English-speaking world so that I don't lose my grasp of German or Arabic...or whatever other languages I learn. The population of native speakers of English in the US is largely monolingual, so I rarely get the opportunity to use a foreign language except sometimes in my hometown, where there is a significant Arab population.

I love the region i live in , i like the warm and honest people with their "straight and direct in your face" attitude and nonexistend PC and the constent swearing and friendly insults and the history and the culture behind our region, i like our slappy down to earth dialect. countries and nations can go to hell. Way to big to grasp and truly know or honestly feel connected with entirely.

Well, even though I don't like Ireland, it's still better than the alternatives, and it falls under the places which I think are ok to live in ie: Western Europe & Canada, I don't wanna live with you fat UnitedStatesians or crazy Asians/Eastern Europeans or Third World Africans/Latin Americans/Mexicans/Indians, Oceania I don't have a problem with the countries its just that it's dangerous their and i'm a wimp.

And just so's you know i'm only kidding, hmm posting this is a bad idea isn't it...

If Gaelic were the predominant language of Ireland, I would move there and never leave.

I'm not a fan of America, I just live there. It's better than third world countries, but as far as western societies go it takes the bronze. My top complaints are ineffective politics, no culture, too far to travel anywhere, no recycling, shitty health care, and capitalist greed.

I would much rather live somewhere more advanced. Like Canada, The UK, France, or Japan.
