Poll: Do you miss the PLAYSTATION logo when PS3 games start up now?

Firmware 3 removed the PLAYSTATION 3 logo & bell-twinkle sound when games start.

Do you miss it?

i always liked it, it reminded me of old school consoles. like whenever Sega games would start it would have the SEGA logo and go SEEEEEGGGAAAAA.

I always used to love the SEEEEGAAAAA. It sound so bad, it could have just been "AHHH-AHHH"

I actually turned my PS1 on earlier to play a bit of FF7, and my god I forgot how much I love that noise.. Though the SEEEGGAAAAAA was better

Yes, but what I really miss is the two startup sounds from the PSX. You got to hear both awesome greetings every time you turned it on with a game inside!

Honestly it's been so long since i played my PS2 i dont even remember. But it's a recognizable sound yea. Or it WAS until they MURDERED IT!

Ah, well I've just re-bought a PS2 and 5 games for £60 so I'm re-introducing myself to the sound...how I missed it.

Now the PS2 gets more play time then the 360.

i don't even own a playstation, but i have a ps1 in my closet somewhere back home (with Tony Hawk 2 still in the drive) and I can still hear that sound - why in the FUCK would they have gotten rid of that?

How did I miss that? Ok, now I know it isn't there I'm going to miss it, or forget again in a few hours.
But what I do miss is the little Japanese voice that said: "By Hudson" at the start of some older Bomberman titles.

I thought I was the only one who noticed that they took the twinkle sound out. I miss it.

I don't know why they took it out. There was no reason to as far as I can tell.
