*Sigh* yup my hair are growing long enough to that time again to get it cut. I swear my hair grow too fast. I hate my hair when it become long since it become really thick like a wolly mammoth and I have that bowl hair look when it grow that long.

Oh and that's some catchy Jpop tunes by the way (my sort of thing).

Through the ages of 11 to 17 I had practically every hair color except all black. And lots of different styles from green spikes to blue & black rastas. After that for the last about six years I've mostly sported bald and very short hair.

Right now I'm between growing or shaving. A week or so and I'll know.

I've always preferred lengthy hair to short and neat, I dunno why. Freedom? Looks cooler? Too much effort involved in the cutting? Who knows. I've left my hair as it is for a couple of months now, justifying it as a "winter coat". Quite a few people have told me to get my hair cut, including one guy who comes into the store where I work once a week and tells me that by the next week it needs to be trimmed. It never is.

Unfortunately, I'm starting to feel that maybe it is time. The trouble with my hair is that it never stays straight. It goes past a certain point and gets dreadfully curly, at which point I curse the gods, as I'm now stuck with permanent bed hair. Still better than neat and tidy though.

Just shaved a few days ago. My approach to hair is a rather simple one, and surprisingly similar to how your average farmer might approach the concept of sheep shearing. Shave it short, grow it for a few months, reach the point where everything's too curly and I look like a tool, repeat the process. There's a nice period for about a few weeks in the middle where it reaches my favourite length, and I should probably just keep my hair at that length all the time, but it's just too much effort.

Yes I do need one but I never know how to cut it, I tend to pick styles at random or tell the hairdresser to do whatever he/she likes, don't really care too much but there's about a 50/50 chance it will diminish my handsomeness but getting rid of it is impossible.
