Poll: Do you notice when people go missing on the escapist?

Well I come and go on the escapist these days, and when I re-appear no one seems to care. I'm abit like "Oh " but doesn't bother me too much. Then I notice people on my friends list who have been inactive in months and even people not in my friends list whose names don't pop up as usual on forums.

Do you notice it when people go missing?

Only the small number of people whose posts i look out for, but that is a very small number an they don't look like going missing anytime soon XD

It's hard not to notice when three or four threads pop up about a user being banned. I think people went on for days about that.... kinda dumb.

OT: Sometimes, but only if that particular user stands out in some way or I talk to them often.

It depends who they are. Generally, about 2000 posts is enough to hammer your image into my brain sufficiently that I remember you.

A couple people noticed when I got banned the first time, I got flooded with messages. But that was mostly because of the shock of seeing me banned, then two weeks later seeing me post again.

Sometimes, but I'll usually shrug it off as not noticing Threads they're Posting in, as this case has been before.

I usually notice if the people I hang out with a lot go missing, but not most other users. It's a big forum, so chances are they could be posting somewhere else.
