Poll: Do you notice when people go missing on the escapist?

Well, being so well known I should hope that someone would notice MY absence, should it occur. I would expect to see a dozen threads - active threads, mind - should I take but a month's absence. Yeah.

Exactly what qualifies as "missing"? When people aren't here? how long do they have to be gone before it qualifies as missing? I come on pretty regularly, but only on days when the videos are posted? am I "missing" on Tuesdays, Sundays and Saturdays? I usually only talk to people through threads so I wouldn't know if my friends are missing or just online at a different times. It's not like ANY of you are REALLY here!

OT: Sometimes I wonder where some people have gone, only to find out they've changed their name. Take [user]Wahful[/user], [user]Hazy[/user] and [user]Timotei[/user] for example. All fooled me into thinking they' gone when they actually changed their usernames.

But I have noticed that some users have vanished completely. Users like [user]Last Of The Chinchillas[/user], [user]Empireth[/user] even though they are probably on the IRC as I type and [user]Guitar Gamer[/user] have all gone AWOL recently.

So I suppose I do notice when users go missing but only if they've made an impression on me.

It's hard not to notice when three or four threads pop up about a user being banned. I think people went on for days about that.... kinda dumb.

Anyway, no, I don't really notice, because I just haven't been here long enough.
