If you have even numbers of home consoles and portable systems, just vote "Several Home Consoles, fewer Portable systems"

Home: 2 SNES (Model 1), Genesis (Model 2), 2 GameCubes (Platinum and Purple), PS2 Slim, PS1 (Slim and Fat) Dreamcast, N64, Xbox 360, Wii

Portable: GP2X Wiz (recently broke... sad), 4 Gameboy Colors (2 Green, 1 Clear, 1 Yellow), GBA, GBA SP (W/Back-lit screen) , Gameboy Micro, DS, DS Lite, PSP 1000

My fiancee and I are collectors :) I use my 360 and DS Lite the most, though. Since I have 3 Windows, 2 Mac and 1 Ubuntu computer, I also play many PC games (I love Kongregate and Steam + Tons of indie games as I'm an indie dev as well)

I've owned every gameboy since the original, but I won't be getting the 3D one, normal 3D gives me a headache let alone this new one. But I've also owned every game system since the sega (I know not as many as most of you who got the atari as a kid. My grandma oddly enough has an atari = /).

Systems can be current generation systems or old classics. We don't discriminate. Though maybe count the ones you use currently still (like once a year) or at least ones that still work.

Nintendo Entertainment System
Super Nintendo Entertainment System
Nintendo Gamecube
Nintendo Wii
Nintendo Gameboy Color
Nintendo DS
Nintendo DSi
Sega Genesis
Sega CD
Playstation
Playstation 2
Playstation 3
Playstation Portable
Xbox
Xbox 360 (x3)

I think that's the lot of it, if memory serves.

Overall, I own more home consoles than portables but that's probably more because more of them have been made. When it comes to regular use, I got the ps3, wii, ds, psp, my wife has a ds lite, and I have a gba micro. Of all those, I probably only use the micro every day but I have one of those card thingies for it.

I own a PS3 and a PC, and a fancy smartphone that can play games so yes I do also own a fancy portable games system.

iPhone and Android smartphone games are on the up. Only last month Capcom said smartphones are drawing people away from 'traditiona' handhelds. http://bit.ly/fq6Io8

I certainly don't see the need to spend money on a handheld console when i can already play games on a phone, that's for sure.

(Cool story, right?)

I have owned a lot of gaming consoles over the years. Not all of these are mine, some are/were shared with my brother.

Home: Playstation,PS2,Gamecube(for a whole week!), Nintendo Wii(which I never use. The parts are scattered all over my house) and a Red(Yes RED ************!) Xbox 360

Portable: Gameboy, 2 gameboy colours, Gameboy Advance, PSP and Nintendo DS

Well, let's see...
Gameboy
Gameboy Colour
Gameboy Advanced
Nintendo 64
Nintendo DS (Original)
Playstation 2 (Original)
Playstation 3 (60 GB backwards compatible)
Playstation Portable Slim
Xbox 360 Slim
2 PCs (One can run BC2 on highest graphic settings, the other can only run it on the lowest)

The ones I use the most nowadays are the better of the two PCs and my PS2.
