Got mine day one. Pilotwings is pretty neat, Ocarina 3D is the best version of the game, and I'm finally playing Link's Awakening. Looking forward to the wave of games coming from Nintendo (Especially Mario Kart, Paper Mario, and Luigi's Mansion 2). Honestly, I find the complaints about the library to be a little odd:
"Nintendo, make new IPs!"
"Okay, here's Steel Diver. And Pilotwings, which you haven't seen for a while."
"What's wrong with you Nintendo, give us Mario!"

I found the battery life to be mildly obnoxious at worst. However, the cradle is completely effortless, so I find myself recharging after almost every session. It occasionally dies when I'm running errands with my mom, but that's mostly my fault since I forgot to recharge. Unless you need it to distract you on international flights, there's no reason to let the battery life be a huge part of your purchasing decision.

I don't know anyone who's bought one, but my brother's birthday is a couple weeks after the price drop, so we'll be getting him one, and a few of my friends are likely to get one with the dropped price.

I don't know anyone, and I don't plan on getting one.
Maybe I'd get one once it has some games, but for now, I don't see a reason.

Got mine the day it launched, and it's been worth the money. The games are starting to pick up speed which is nice, and the new games on the horizon look epic(looking at you, Mario 3D and Paper Mario). Honestly what I've had most fun with is messing around with Pokedex 3D. That thing is way more fun than it should be.

What gets to me though is the people complaining about the Ambassador Program. "Oh 20 free games doesn't make up for the $80 extra I decided to pay. Nintendo sucks because of it." and all that jazz. Seriously, A) the 10 GBA games are ONLY for the people who bought a 3DS early, Nintendo doesn't plan on releasing them to the general public so feel special, and B) Nintendo doesn't "owe" you jack. No video game company does. But lately people have started acting like entitled 5 year old brats who look every way of apology or sincere appreciation with disdain and disgust. So to all you people who complain about the 20 free games "not being enough", just remember Nintendo didn't have to give you anything so be glad they gave you something. I personally am excited because the games they're giving us are AWESOME.

Random note: one of the lead designers behind OoT 3D said that if the fan support was large enough they'd love to remake Majora's Mask like they did for Ocarina. Here's hoping they do :)

And even if you don't like the 20 games, those of us who bought it early agreed that $250 was a fair price. Personally, I think it's awesome that Nintendo appreciates our service enough to give us a total of 21 free games (if you bought it in the first couple of months).

I'd love to see Majora's Mask 3D! I don't want to get involved with Operation Moonfall (I don't like getting involved with fan groups that try to accomplish their mission by spamming facebook)...maybe I should just right them a letter?

I don't have it, I won't get it, I don't know anyone who owns one...
I don't need a handheld console. If I'd get one it'd probably be a GameBoy of some sort with some old Pokemon and Zelda games.

I have one... But I have no games for it. >_<

We kind of foolishly bought it when funds were not as great as we thought, so buying new games for it isn't in the budget right now. That being said, we mostly bought it in anticipation of what WILL come out for it, (Phoenix Wright vrs Layton, etc).

In that sense though, I'm super glad for this "Ambassador Program", what with the free games and all. We'll finally have cause to play it.

I'll probably get one if the price drops, the main thing that turns me away is the apparently short battery life.

I have a 3DS, it was pretty lame at first because "IT HAS NO GAEMS!!" but now I've gotten Ocarina of Time and Resident Evil and I'm pretty happy with my purchase *waiting for super smash 3D and metal gear solid*

My friend has one and likes it a lot, but he never owned a DS and hasn't bought any 3DS games because there aren't any interesting non-ports right now.

I tried one out at Best Buy. I couldn't get the 3D to look right, maybe because it was bolted to the stand, but the graphics were nonetheless beautiful without 3D. Didn't much care for Pilotwings, but I'm sold on getting one once the library exapnds and the regular DS is completely phased out.

I'm happy with my DS Lite for now, and I'm still purchasing games for it.

Once the library gets a bit bigger, I'll get one though.

I agree, don't get involved with the groups that just spam. All that does is get people annoyed and makes what you're trying to accomplish vanish. Writing a letter would be a great idea though. You could also do something like start an online petition, getting e-signatures of people who would like the game and then send that to the company along with the letter.
