Poll: Do you pick up money off the ground?

Once I found 20 dollars that was dropped behind a slot machine in a New Mexico Casino. Another time I found 14 bucks in the pocket of a 6 dollar shirt I bought from a thrift store.

If I see anything worth 5p or more in change I'll take it. I also spread 1p coins across the land when I have some spare, because I like the thought of an idle-minded toddler getting excited at finding money on the floor. Ahh, youth.

I just won't pick up pennies.

I've only ever found as much as a dollar on the ground.
If there ever is a lot of money on the ground, someone else picks it up before me.

most i've found is a £20 note, as i found it on a Saturday morning, Saturday night was better than expected

I know this is going to sound really pretentious, but I really hate change. So much so that I actually find it more of a pain to pick it up and use it than to leave for someone else to pick up. I'd pick up a quarter, loonie, or toonie if I saw it, but no pennies, nickels, or dimes.

The way I see it: It's a pain in the ass for me, but it could make someone else's day so it's better for everyone.

Yeah, I found a ten once. And another time I found a twenty but it was frozen in ice. So I scraped my knuckles up pretty bad but ity was sooooo worth it.

I don't care if it is only a penny or $100. I fit is on the ground it is mine. But for large sums, I'll look around for somebody who looks as though they are missing something. If I can't find anybody, it is mine.

I don't really grab pennies, but I go for anything a quarter and upwards.

I also found a 50 dollar bill in the snow once.

i like in the UK, so curency wise if a bit different. generally more than 20p and i'll pick it up, my girlfriend picks up everything, sometimes thinks she'll look cheap and gets me to do it xD

largest amount i found was £20 note on the floor, was pretty damn pleased ^-^
