I have been playing guitar for about 6 years and absolutely love it. I also have been playing piano for a few months, so I'm pretty bad.

does singing count? It isn't exactly an insturment unless your mic has one of those little black box things black metal vocialists use to make their voices into horrible roaring things of unparellelled black metalness >.>

I don't use one of those by the way ^^;

guitar/vocals...doesn't matter if it's acoustic/electric rock/metal...i can do any style with vocals, and enjoy playing guitar with it
I think what Mr. Berethond is talking about is (and I don't wanna put words in anyone's mouth, so feel free to correct me) you said "I can do any style with vocals" and mentioned acoustic, electric and metal. So you pretty much said "I can sing all stlyes - Rock, soft rock and metal"

Which is kinda funny.
thats true lol, i guess i sorta narrowed it down on myself, but i actually have practiced in all areas, but i prefer rock, soft rock and metal

....speaking of lullabies. I've got one that's all natural harmonics on the Bass.

it's awesome.
what kind of lullaby? i haven't heared a song as all harmonics on a bass before..i bet it sounds pretty cool
It sounds mega-shitfaced-awesome-cool. It's just this nice little ditty that I play for myself. But it really really makes you feel sleepy if you keep playing it long enough.

I've only every played it for one other person as well... I dunno if I'd ever record it though I like the thought of having my own 'Moonlight Sonata'
you should record it, man..i bet it'd make a badass recording

Nope. Used to play on a keyboard a bit as a kid, but never got very far. Never had a proper teacher anyway and I probably don't have the patience.

I'm one of those people who picked up a cello book as a kid and took the musical knowledge from that and taught myself to play the cello, piano, guitar, banjo, accordion, harmonica, viola, and whatever other instruments my family had sitting around.

I still can't sing though. :(

Drums, 100% self-taught.

Rock Band is actually what got me into drumming. Making the transition from RB drums to real drums was very easy.

I play the drums. I'm not good enough at guitar to consider me as actually playing it, more like trying to remember fret numbers and where they are while trying to play tabs. Its sort of working so far. I'm going to start singing while I play my guitar, if I get good enough to do both at the same time.

Six years of piano and four of guitar. I know a bit about drums thanks to my friend and him letting me practice on his kit, but not enough for me to say I play them.
