I play the bass guitar mainly, and also the electric, with a grade 8 RGT grade in both, I've started with the drums and I sing a bit, but I'm not trained. I play a lot of ska stuff, for wicked basslines and I love the metal... I'd stick my dick in it if I could.

Piano & bass here (much better with the piano though). Also learning balalaika because meh... it's something different.

You Played a Tubax? Or a Bent Sopranino Sax?

...

Wish i had.
I think Tubax is just another name for the contra-bass sax, and yeah I've played that. I just played a bent sopranino a couple months ago. It was all right, the tuning was . . . interesting.

I always hate these threads because there's a load of people who say they can play guitar or piano because they know 1 song and haven't touched it for years.

OT: I used to play guitar (stopped due to boredom with it). But now I play Bass and Drums, much more interesting.

Yep, violin since I was 8, piano since I was 11, Bass and guitar(sort of) since one year ago. Im half decent at drums as well, which means by the (very high) standards of most drummers I know im complete shit, but I can play a basic groove.

Oh and I haven't looked at this thread properly yet, but I bet at least 70% of those yes's are made up of piano and guitar's.

I used to play clarinet, but I stopped because a 6'5' 300 pound guy just doesn't look right playing clarinet. To be more serious, I quit because of dental problems that got so bad I got kicked out of 1st chair. I can't really sing or anything else, I may just be a talentless, lifeless, moneyless... person I guess you would call it.

Edit: I really need to pick up an instrument, my life could use some talent besides Comedy/Acting. Maybe when I get my jaw fixed I'll pick up a brass instrument, like trumpet.

Me, I'm a clarinet player. I wasn't originally much of a music person until my music teacher had me choose between the trumpet or clarinet. Considering I was terrible with the trumpet, I eventually went for the clarinet. I've never looked back.

I played the clarinet for about 5 years. Then, after realising it was totally gay and I didn't enjoy it at all (the 2nd reason more than the first), I switched to guitar - I prefer acoustic, but electric is fun too. I'm pretty good at it (I managed to learn most of "Cliffs of Dover" by Eric Johnson), but I haven't practiced in a while so I'm probably below my prime by now.
