Of course I do, what kind of question is that? I mainly play 3.5 with some occasional tweaks. I also do Warhammer's Rouge Trader, usually borrowing things from both 3.5 and 4th edition D&D's rule sets.

No I never liked the system, too much dungeon crawling and not enough roleplaying.
I play World of Darkness (Vampire, Hunter, Changeling), GURPS and Mouse Guard instead.

I play a bit of a hybrid of 1st ed and 3.5 with my friends. I'm actually running a campaign now based off of the Rave Master manga. We're all aspiring game developers, so we use dnd to get out new and interesting ideas for mechanics and game elements for our own future games

Why yes, I do. I DM for our group and we always have tons of fun even if sometimes we don't get anywhere in the story. We don't get together a lot and I wish we could more often. But you know, that's life.
Was also thinking of starting a Pirate esque campaign but everyone is going off to school and I will be working full time so we'll see...
Edit: Oh yeah, 4e by the way because that's the only one I have things for. Also wanted to try a variation on Savage Worlds but have yet to get the book.

When I was twelve I saw some guys in a car park, they were jumping around with plastic elf ears, wooden swords and towels on their backs, people were staring at them and they were looking awkwardly back, I think even they felt embarrassed. Seeing them doing that put me off for life.

Not to say I thought it was bad (I adore fantasy stuff) its just that if you full on role play in a very public place you are asking for trouble. Find a place out in the country in some woods or something, where no one will come and take the piss.

I would love to try it. Sadly, not enough of my friends are into that nerdy stuff. Hopefully I can convince them at one point.

I've always wanted to give it a try, but I can never seem to find enough people who want to play. I've played Call of Cthulhu a few times, though. This was with friends who have since moved away; thus I don't talk with them much anymore.

I'm currently in 3 games. 4th ed D&D, Rogue Trader, and Mutants & Masterminds 3ed. Wish I had more time to play MORE! I have so many RPG books I have made a chair out of them before.

In fact, just forget the D&D and the black jack!

OT: Yes and I love it. Tried DMing once and failed marvelously, so I much rather just be a player. Been wanting to play with a group of my friends, but I keep getting scheduled for work the nights that they play :/

I've been curious about it for a while now but no I haven't. My friends like many nerdy stuff but that's one of the things that's just "too nerdy" for them. It has this stigma of being one of the nerdiest things you could do.

This. It always seems like "life" tries to get in the way of me having fun with my group. Actually, it has gotten really hard to even have a group. I miss tabletops in general....oh god, what's happened to my life?

It's been a long while due to the fact I have shift work. I used to like building my game worlds from the ground up, playing a 2.5 Edition (taking what I liked from 3rd Edition and adding it to 2nd Edition)

I've yet to play D&D in real life (it is virtually unknown in my country), but I've spent years playing it online.

I play only 3.5e and Pathfinder. I tried 4e, didn't like it. I didn't try 2e, but for what I read about it, the fluff was excellent but it was quite unforgiving, so I doubt I'll give it a try. I might give 5e a read, but I became heavily disillusioned with it a few months ago so I have no hopes of it being good at all.

3.5e is definitely the edition for me. Pathfinder is... meh. It has some things I really dig, but for every instance of something I like, there's an instance of something I detest. So I'm very lukewarm about it.

I'm only in two campaigns right now, both solo instances with the same player (we DM one each). The one I'm DMing is a post-apocalyptic heavy-intrigue affair with murder mysteries, dark secrets and politics, and the one he's DMing is a more lighthearted, relaxed, standard game.

After being spoiled by how comfortable solo campaigns are, I doubt I'd ever play in a group again. I've yet to have a single good experience with one. I also doubt I'd ever play D&D in real life either. I don't imagine myself having any fun.

Just started very recently. Managed to get a group of friends together for it, got the 3.5th edition handbooks (One of the players didn't want to play 4th for whatever weird reason), and, due to not finding anyone to DM for us, am DMing the campaign myself. I can't help but feel that I'm doing horribly (Most of my very first session was spent trying to guide the group into walking into an inn so they could pick up information about the dungeon they had to run), but all of the players seem to be enjoying the shit out of the campaign so far. Don't know whether they're great actors, I'm a great DM without realizing, or, more likely, the game's fun enough to provide fun even with me sucking.

That said, I do plan to continue, hopefully as a player for a while before DMing another campaign. I love roleplaying beyond the level a computer RPG allows you to, and even if I'm not that great at it for now, I feel that being a DM and crafting a story around a group of characters that think by themselves is a fantastic challenge that could be immensely satisfying if pulled off right.

I play PnP paper games in general, and yes, I've played DnD, but right now, I'm starting a shadowrun campaign with some people, so basically it's just adding a bit of Deus Ex flavour to the 'ol fantasy RPG thing.

No, but I really like the idea of it and I wish I could play it, but, alas, I have pretty much no friends. Or at least none who'd want to.
