Poll: Do you play handhelds in public?

Now I think about it, when I got my PSP I played it on the way to Berlin during a school trip a little bit, but mainly my focus was on my then girlfriend.

I have a few times, but generally I don't, I usually read a book if I want to do something in public/waiting.

Yes, but not always. It depends on the mood and whether or not I'm fully up to date on my course reading. When I do it's usually on the train, since it's a 25 minute commute (there, and then 25 back again), or when we're on holiday at a camping site or something.

If I'm traveling anywhere, chances are I got my PSP with me to pass the time if I'm on the bus, in a waiting room, at a friends house or whatever. Always squeeze in a few quick Dissidia matches or something during those travel and waiting periods.

No ones ever bothered me about it, not a big deal or anything. Hell I've noticed people around me watching my screen sometimes lol. Now whether they were watching because they thought what I was playing was cool or something I dunno, I could just feel their stares lol.

Only really on long journeys on public transport. If I'm walking, of course not; I'm clumsy enough as it is. And I don't tend to enjoy just sitting still in public for too long, makes me feel like I'm gonna get sniped in the face.

I always bring my PSP with me on plane rides but as for my morning commute, the subway is generally too crowded for me to comfortably play, and my commutes not long enough for it anyways. I only play if I have a lot of time I need to kill so I'll bring it with me if I'm going to meet up with someone in case I have to wait around or something.

I play my PSP, but have not in a while as I only played it when riding the train. Wish I had a DS. I could buy one, but I've gone so long without one that I'm just gonna wait until one of my cousins doesn't want theirs any more, then get Pokemon Black/White. Too bad it's too late to get that bonus Pokemon. Shitty ass "Buy/order it as early as you can" scams.

If I had my own DS (when I play on one it's on my sister's) I'd definitely do that, but honestly I prefer taking a book with me.

But I'd never take a PSP with me, if I would get one. I played on one, friggin' loved it, but it looks so fragile. I can be rather rough with my bag, so I don't think a PSP would survive for very long.

Yes. I play my DS everywhere. Never leave home without it, really. I've got a doctor's appointment in an hour, and it's coming with me there, too.

Not my PSP, though. Screen is too vulnerable in a pocket. And generally the PSP is just fucking fragile.

I play them both at home. Extensively.

When Black/White came out, I played for at least 13 hours that day.

Not advertising or anything but just an idea. Since I've bought the case I notice that I feel much more comfortable bringing my PSP places in my pocket.

OP: I do but not all the time. I will bring it places if i think I'm going to be bored somewhere for a long time. I have both the PSP and ds lite.

I've done it. Not recently, but I've done it. I played most of Case 3 of Phoenix Wright: TaT while on an extended train ride to and from Canarsie, for example.

Pretty much. Though I totally bring it on long journeys like on planes and stuff. I totally play Naruto on it

However I don't have a DS which I wish I did have. I probably would have lots of fun game time with it...I'll see if I can find a cheapish one at a local store. However I do play my Gameboy Advance very very often in Public. I don't care who'll judge me and my Pokemon I'm still going to play it!

When Pokemon was new I used to walk around with a gameboy color glued to my hands.
Now I'm not up-to-date with handhelds I don't do it anymore.

No. If I'm really bored, I'll read something, listen to my mp3 player, or talk to someone. The only time I'll play a handheld is when I'm with friends or at home.

I can, and I do. Otherwise a portable system is just... Not being all that portable. Do you get judged? More than likely, should you care? Nope, why? Because you're kicking ass while they giggle.

And besides, if it's a Gameboy or a DS or such, it's fine, that's shit's made with the finest quality nintendium, it'd take a Diamond Pickax to break it.
