I did, just today. Forza 3 with a friend where we crashed very expensive cars together :D
I still don?t get why a single racing game is made without it...
I was actually surprised that it had a split screen mode. A game that needed one was Burnout: Paradise
and every other racing game without :p

I like split screen when I have friends over but the issue is that most all of my friends have Xbox 360's so playing together online is a better experience (view wise at least). Usually if I have a buddy over they bring their console and hook it up to my secondary TV so we can sit near each other but have separate screens.

Honestly, when friends are over it's all about Rock Band instead of any other games anyway (so all of our non gaming wives can still hang out with us). Shooters/adventure games are for nights when everybody stays home and plays.

Of course, I play split screen. It is just so fucking awesome. I've been playing split screen for as long as I could remember. Split screen better not die out.

I play Gears2, Halo3, ODST, Geometry Wars Evolved 2, Rainbow Six Vegas 2 and Ghost Recon AW 2 very regularly, pretty much just because they allow multiple gamers to play on one screen.

Split-screen is a major factor for me when buying/renting games. Split-screen is my favorite past time.

The few times I played Halo 3 were split screen. There's nothing like forge mode. My friend and I built a fortress on the outside of the map where giant guns would kill you if you went there. The fortress put a stop to that.

Yes, quite often.
I play tons of Halo 3 and Perfect Dark: Zero, so me and my friends quite enjoy the split screen implements.

Nope. I hate it with a burning passion, and I refuse to play any game split-screen.

The main reason being how cramped it is. A big TV screen, cut into two, three, and four different sections, which means limited visuals and different sounds coming from every screen. How can I focus on gaming when it's nothing but noise and being unable to see anything? I can't, which I means I die. And I hate dying.

I'm fine with Lan though, being in a room with 12 different computers in it as I write this post. Everyone has their OWN screen, headsets for each person to hear THEIR game.

I just hate split-screen.

I LOVE splitscreen, I've played countless of hours with a friend on several games with split screen. In fact, hes coming over tomorrow which means I'll be playing some.

EDIT: Most games we play splitscreen are shooters (Star Wars battlefront I & II, Resistance I & II, modern warfare I & II, some Conflict games as well)

I love split screen and I wish it was in more games.
Sadly, it seems to be dieing out. Borderlands is a great solution to less new split-screen games though...

I don't play split-screen because games aren't putting it in as often anymore. The 360 titles still offer SS but most PS3 games I've come across tell you to play online and look at me weird when I try desperately to find the SS option

Split screen is fun when you have someone to play with. I don't mind games like GTA that have Co-op (GTA IV had three co-op missions I think) and no split-screen, but the option for split-screen is always a nice thing.

Split-screen > online.
It just sucks split-screen is being phased out so people will be forced to buy multiple copies if they want to play with friends.

I ALWAYS play split-screen. Me and my buddies like to hang out, drink some mountain dew(almost, but not QUITE old enough for beer)... and then try to gut each other on Modern Warfare 2(the only good thing about that game. Man, 60 bucks isn't worth it.)

I also would like to express displeasure at the disappearing rate of split-screen and co-op games that have been churned out in recent years. Is it really that hard to add split screen to Killzone 2? I mean, I don't even like any of the characters or storyline anyway, who cares if adding another guy would mess that up?

This is a joke you're telling, right? You're being super deadpan right now?

Anyway, split screen is the greatest. Well, except for games in which all players can function on the same screen (fighting games, multiplayer side-scrollers), but it's the next best thing. LAN parties are kind of a hassle, and online multiplayer just blows more often than not.

The jobless have no money & my parents sure as hell aren't going to get me one...a screen that is. (Though I can't see them giving me a job either).

As for multiplayer, I tend to give people the silent treatment & play solo, unless my heart is 3 sizes larger that day & I want to help some noob level up because I'm bored of grinding & have nothing better to do.
