PC. Don't play on consoles, no interest in playing on consoles.

Biggest screen at my place is my 32" monitor, most comfortable chair at my place in my computer chair. My PC is the centre of all but 1 of my entertainment needs (I prefer deadtree edition books).

PC. I like to sit forward and be engaged by games, not be put to sleep by them. Since apparently seating preference is the only thing we are allowed to mention without being elitist.

I like consoles better because of the whole controller vs. Keyboard thing, and yeah i know you can hook up an xbox controller to the pc but that doesnt work for all the games so, console for me...except when i play wow

Gee, your name gave me no indication at all as to which you were going to vote for. :p

Also, nah, saying "I prefer PCs because I like *insert certain aspects here* and think it's better for *insert certain genre here*." is not elitist. I think the elitist threshold is when you say "*insert certain genre here* is factually better on PC, no questions asked, anyone who thinks otherwise is obviously retarded, and all those who play on consoles are lesser beings than I."

I'm not going to vote due to a lack of a healthy mixture of both option. I can imagine many people are not going to have a preference and enjoy PC and Consoles for each of their merits.

PC for me is all about RPG's and Minecraft, with the odd FPS. Console is where I do the multiplayer competitive gaming due to many more friends on there.

I have so many PCs I find it incomprehensible that people can actually live with fewer than 3 PCs.
BAM .. how's that for elitist?

I went with console as I enjoy the ease. I'm much happier with the game selection on the PC though.

Side note: I play both on my couch. I have a gaming laptop and a minimouse, but if I had a gaming tower I'd hook it up to my hdtv so I could still play on the couch.

Consoles are great for the pop in and play sort of thing. Also, I've gotten used to console controls without a decent PC for years. However, old school RPGs and pretty much all Bethesda games I prefer on the PC.

As a newcomer to pc gaming, i'm still getting used to mouse and keyboard and am not as skilled as a controller when it comes to shooters. however i'm adapting and will be just as good eventually, so when you consider that pc gameing is far cheaper, with a better genre variety i think pc is a winner. The only thing i think a pc is not a winner at is offline/local co-op.

Console. It's much simpler and easier.

When I've graduated high school, and then college, and have a steady job, I'll get a PC. Until then, I don't have time for it.

I enjoy playing PC Games but the amount of money needed for a good gaming computer has forced me to play on my console more. So console :)

One thing I seem to notice tho on Console gaming is how the multiplayer is ususaly worthless unless you're playing one of the top 5 games, otherwise you'll never find an opponent. :(

Can't answer. As much as I love playing games on my console and would love to say that, I do enjoy WoW a lot, so I think I play both evenly.

Console. It's all psychological for me. I associate my console with escapism and I associate my PC with uni work and work in general

PC, purely for the improved performance, customisation, visuals/physics, mod support, superior online etc. I still play my 360 more. I play my Wii a little, but not even close to PC or 360 times. My PS3 sits there as a glorified DVD player (or at least it did until it broke, useless pieces of shit).

That said, I still plug my 360 controller into the PC for when I'm playing games like Fallout, Mass Effect, Crysis etc. Offline FPS games get the controller treatment too, since there's no requirement for mouse reflexes against AI.

So, which do I prefer playing? PC. Which do I play most? 360, followed fairly closely by the PC.

I prefer PC gaming more for most things. Especially for strategy and FPS shooter games, I much prefer the keyboard and mouse setup over a controller. Plus there is such a variety of games that can be played. I still like some of those old games from the 80s, and I can still play them on my PC. Consoles are getting better with their online service, but it's still not quite as good in that aspect.

That said, I really like consoles for fighting games and most RPG type games (the ones without shooting like Fallout 3/New Vegas or Mass Effect). They are also good for simpler board and puzzle games which don't need complex controls.
