Just curious. I don't read them, and can't imagine that anyone else does. but HumancentIpad did drive it home that it is pretty irresponsible to agree to and/or sign any contracts without reading them first. but seriously, bleh.

Yes I do. Only because there is so much hilarity to be found in what they will disclaim.

The ammount they are willing to do in a CYA motion is just to funny.

I email them to my lawyer, he reads them and emails me back advising my on the next course of action. So far they have not found one that would hold up in court, that includes all my software and hardware.

I do, it's often totally worth it.

<link=http://www.apple.com/legal/itunes/us/terms.html#GIFTS>In Apple's iTunes TOS:

LICENSED APPLICATION END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT
Section G

"You also agree that you will not use these products for any purposes prohibited by United States law, including, without limitation, the development, design, manufacture, or production of nuclear, missile, or chemical or biological weapons. "

Because iTunes could play music to end the freaking WORLD with.

Every now and then.

It's amazing that they can say "fuck with us or our product and we will fuck you hard" in so many words.

I suppose it's a good thing that the lawyer's I've talked to said they won't hold up in court.

I usually do, both for the reasons listed above (OK reason, singular: it's hilarious) and because Gamestop once put it into their EULA that if you pre-orderd a certain game from them, they legally own your soul.

Not that I care about something I don't believe in, but that could easily have been something important like "the next packet of pringles buy"!
