I, more often then not, read the manual when i buy a new video-game, i find that sometimes the game does not teach certain moves or tricks. Of course with Online purchasing and digital distribution, the manuals are goign extinct, but, what do you do?

Yeah, I do actually. Last one I read was Prototype's, which was like 9 pages long. It pretty much said "Here's how you move. Now here's how you kill people. The end." lol

Yes I do, there's often some little extras to the story, hints and tips, and even things like combo lists or what have you in them. So I always give it a skim, if not a full read.

Sometimes you have to. Fucking King's Quest...
Fucking Stuntman:Ignition...

Sometimes. I rent most of my games at a place that dosen't package the manual with the rental games, so usually I have to pray that everything is explained in game. If it's not, then see my opening statement.

I don't unless I either can't figure something out or just start enjoying the game so much I find myself wanting to know more.

Only once....guild wars, that was confusing
I always found Guild Wars pretty self-explanatory once you figure out all the hotkeys for opening menus(h for character, g for guild, l for quest log, etc.)

I almost always read the manuals. Since my favorite game store is pretty far from my house, and I don't have my license yet, I'll sit in the car, open up the game, and read the manual on the way home.

I would very much like to put the exact same post that you got put on probabtion for but i don't want a probation so.... use the SEARCH BAR, Madden freak did this already.

I usually wouldn't give a crap but you deserve it.

and usually i don't read a manual until i have problems.
