I like to read.
I think it's silly to pity someone for not enjoying it, there is an ugly pretentiousness about peoples attitudes to reading. It's not necessarily a sign of intelligence, and it's not definitly superior to film, it has some advantages...it also has plenty of disadvantages.
I would pity someone who didn't enjoy any means of storytelling...but films are freakin' awesome, and I can completely understand someone continuously favouring them. 9/10, I'm looking at the DVD rack rather than the bookshelf when I want entertainment.
I end up reading something most nights...PC Zone...New Scientist. I occasionally tackle a full length work of fiction. But it's not a frequent occurence.
