Do you respond to what Characters say in the game or do you scream something out at the screen when you see a cool event.

I often do this. I respond to what characters say even though my character may be replying.

Like in my latest case at the end of Mass effect 2 I screamed out

I know a few people on TVTropes responded to this moment in Batman: Arkham Asylum:

Scarecrow: How are you doing this? You've ingested enough fear toxin to drive ten men insane! WHAT ARE YOU? *runs off like a pansy*

By shouting "I'm BATMAN!" at the screen.

It's part of the fun of RPG's I think. Anyone watching me play one would probably think I have gone more insane than they already think I am.

I don't respond to anything on screen, if character says somthink along the lines "I'm not done yet" i sometimes respond quietly "Yay"

That sounds creepy for some reason. I kind just imagine you watching someone doing something and they say "I'm not done yet" and your there behind a curtain and you say "Yay".

Yeah I've talked to the screen before, especially when I can respond as a character and they don't give me an option I wish I could say. And often times, I respond with dry sarcasm.

Whenever some character gets a snarky attitude with me, I'm all like, "Say what?!" And then I usually assassinate them with my hidden blade.

Sometimes, so I voted no, we really need a sometimes choice I do like filling in for mute characters as well.

Apart from that, the only game I ever responded to what a Character says in-game is Disgaea. If you've played it, you know what I mean.

"Give back that ammo, you cretin!"

"Well that failed miserably..."

Occasionally, just to make my self laugh I'll choose a character and just tell them to shut up ever time they speak. The last characters to get this abuse was Persona 3's Yukari, because I really don't like her in the Answer, and Persona 4's Chie because it was funny.

Yeah, I often vocalise my thoughts aloud while playing video games. It's usually because either the main character never says what I want him to say or because the main character has limited responses, none of which fit.
Either way, it's still kind of fun.
